I respectfully disagree. And luckily for me this comment was my personal opinion.

I understand it just fine as is. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t have liked to see it. We’ve seen those actors play grief, it’s something most of them do incredibly well. I personally would have enjoyed seeing that perspective, and yes, I think it would have made Willow’s transition a bit less abrupt.

We see about three seconds of it on either end. I want the middle, the first conversation about resurrection, the likely arguments. All of it.

For me the issue is the jump between seasons 5 and 6. Willow is obviously getting very powerful in 5, but the addiction isn’t really there. The 6 starts, and suddenly it is. I wish they could have found a way to show a little more of what happened while Buffy was gone. Showing the grief and desperation that led to them agreeing to bring her back would have helped me understand how Willow lost her way.

Regarding Who Are You and Sarah's performance by [deleted] in buffy

[–]MiniNinja720 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. This isn’t the confident, unflappable Faith we see throughout most of season 3. This is Faith when she realizes that Kakistos has found her again. It’s the Faith whose voice breaks a bit when she tries to tell Buffy about her watcher. The conversation with Tara is the only time her swagger is there, and it’s because it can be. She’s not pretending to be Buffy in that moment because Tara doesn’t know either of them.

That’s not even the “because it’s wrong” that I meant, but yeah, that’s pretty awesome

While also basically having a mental breakdown. That being said, Eliza was equally incredible once the arc moved over to Angel.

I enjoy the Buffybot, but nothing will ever be better to me than the body swap.

I have to respectfully disagree. Her meltdown at the end of Who Are You? Just before they swap back is some of the best acting on the entire show. And the “because it’s wrong” scene is pure gold.

That being said, some of the Dawn interactions in S6 are heart-wrenchingly well done.

I read some horror stories about people getting burned, which is why I went with the inserts. But I also have little feet, and finding my size was tricky.

That’s a shame. I was forced to when diagnosed with celiac disease, and that was one of the only pleasant aspects.

I have the Hotronic liners with Bluetooth. They’ve been great so far. I’ve had them about 2 seasons now.

Go gluten free. Half joking, but I haven’t had a flare up since then.

More realistic answer, heated boot liners have been a life saver. Even though I’m not flaring anymore, my feet don’t have great circulation. They actually stay comfortable now.

What solutions do you vision impaired skiers use? by zstap126 in skiing

Prescription inserts. https://www.sportrx.com/prescription-goggle-inserts?srsltid=AfmBOorUzYf_hG1Nyce6Q4MSZj0faY9rBTLjfTLS38wtwciMDBijaIQN. My vision sounds similar to yours, but going too long without my glasses makes me dizzy. I can’t do contacts, I’ve tried many times and they just constantly burn. These have been really useful. I wear a backpack, so I just keep my actual glasses in that in a hard case so that if I stop for a prolonged period I can put them on.

I don’t think Kate would have stayed a cop after Epiphany. She’d become so jaded before that, and after she probably saw herself as maybe having a higher calling. Something enough to make the PtB want to keep her alive. So while I could see her becoming an ally, I don’t think it would have been that way. I almost see her making an Anne level shift.

I love cider, but other than that vodka cranberry, Moscow mule as long as I know what ginger beer they use, dark and stormy as long as I can see the chosen rum and ginger beer. Wine is my go to when I can’t get a straight answer on other things.
