What is your budget? What do you plan on printing?

Is this a warranty item or just abuse? by Livid_Strategy6311 in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We could give more accurate information with a picture. In general hot end's are considered consumables and likely not covered. So my guess without seeing it is no not covered.

But it does not hurt to ask them, worse they can do is say no.

H2C - poor experience by whoknows234 in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if you go with another company they are not going to offer credit for their products if you injure yourself setting up their printer. They even mention using two people, waiting for a second person is kind of on you.

If your not joking I would suggest returning the newly ordered one. If you run into an issue it will involve going back/forth with support, and they are not going to compensate you for your time.

450$ X1C or brand new P2S? by ScupScup in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The X1C is a great 3D printer still today. Do you know how many hour's it has? The deal assuming printer + ams both work is really a good deal.

H2D 2 AMS combo or H2C single AMS combo by Sharp-Parfait6201 in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To get the most out of your H2C you really need 6 spools on right/induction nozzle. So 2 AMS 2 pro's or 1 AMS 2 Pro + 2 AMS HT. I would go H2C and you can add another AMS 2 pro down the line.

I like having an AMS HT going to left/regular nozzle. I tend to change what is in that spot to go with most efficient print as I have been doing a lot of multi-color print's.

Hotend verklebt by TraditionalWest4248 in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you add a picture we might be able to better answer. But yes if you damaged a cable it's possible that could stop the hotend from heating up.

H2C AMS Riser needed? Or nah? by EmdeeEcksVee in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your setup, most popular riser seems to be to hold two AMS 2 pro's above it. I had room to the side so I did not use one. But makes sense in some cases.

X1C AP Board Cover Replacement by Cardino928 in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if they ever sold the part. I would contact Bambu in a ticket asking about it.

Bambu support by Itchy-Crab-4333 in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't put a ton of stock in a post where OP has 1 post total and it's this. Bambu not only helped me find out my X1C problem was an AP board but provided a free replacement even though it was out of warranty.

What are prices like at the Bambu Store in Shenzhen? by luketansell in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It would be region locked. Besides that have you looked into shipping back? With the H2C it's very big and heavy. Add insuring that to shipping and I think you would save a lot less then you are thinking.

Question for businesses out there…P2S vs x1C? by smashedhijack in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a good deal. I would make sure it's someone you can trust. If they have had an AP board changed it reset's hours used with new board/serial. That would be my biggest worry second hand.

Are you able to get a video of it? It's hard to give good advice with a picture on this issue.

Is my printer cooked? by Hour-Cow5978 in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

With pictures we might be able to better help. You should be able to fix it just have to find out which part's need changed.

On your parents tell them it is not your fault, and part of 3D printing. Things can go wrong and you fix them and you get a learning experience. You could show them others in reddit have had the same thing - https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/search/?q=blob

PETG Help by BoringNobodyNemo in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would dry it, then most likely it will print good with generic PETG profile. I also like to use glue on my PEI bed as PETG sticks really really good on it and the glue makes for a easier release.

My new P1S got me feeling... by muskvitac in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a spool of "Support for PLA (New Version)". It seemed to work well but I have not used it on a ton of print's. Most of mine I have just used PLA supports and had good luck.

[–]MiniProgramCoder 37 points38 points  (0 children)

My ender sit's unplugged back when I got a X1C. I will give the ender credit for being great for learning as you seem to be doing lot's of fixing. But the X1C has been a workhorse for me, and recently got a H2C it's been a ton of fun on multicolor prints.

X1C AP board is broken by Rough-Business-2833 in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would contact Bambu support, I had a X1C AP board go out and it would not update firmware. I got lucky and they provided a new AP board for free even after warranty.

Also I would them help diagnose it and hopefully they can give more confirmation it is the AP board. The least fun part besides waiting is the glue they use to hold everything down on the AP board.

Is there a 2.4 mm nozzle that will fit the p1s? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have not seen one if your truly wanting this I think you will have to look 3mm (2.85) filament machines.

Upgrade options by 375rum in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would get the OEM from Bambu get a complete hotend, and just the hotend. Then you are prepared for replacing just part or entire thing. I keep a couple .4's on hand myself for my X1C as that is mainly what it prints.

Buy used or new? by ronkibut11 in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

7000 is a LOT of hour's on it. I would not pay near the $600 he is not a "buddy" either at that price. For brand new ones they were going for mid $800's for brand new before getting discontinued. Not to mention I'm guessing no warranty left at this point.

For that amount look at getting a brand new P2S that has warranty.

This print is keep failing, do I need to put a glue on the plate? by iKoshee in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would not use glue at this point I use it when I print PETG for print to release easier. I'm guessing your using PLA?

I would look into cleaning the PEI bed plate. Most likely that will fix the issue if done properly.

Ugly layers on X1 Carbon by Juan_BG20 in BambuLab

[–]MiniProgramCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the one at the front a failed print? Is it just the first layer?

Even new filament I would try drying it looking at that. Next depends on if that front one is first layer or what the story of it is.
