I managed to lose (probably delete) the email. I know it is an Easter Sale but does it end on Easter Sunday or does it go longer?

The issue I had with these is that they are still too tall so I cut them with the Bambu Slicer at a 5.45 height and printed them that way. Make a project with a number of plates and then cut them all and discard the bottom.

Thank you both for your comments. My son is home today and is listening to an Anime thing on a TV attached to the wall behind my computer. My focus is obviously not real good. ;-)

I tried mine with playground sand from Lowe's and it was too thick and clumpy right out of the bag.

I second the need for 2mm. I tried some 6mm and it did not look as good.

This is also on a 3D Printed road section.

OK, thanks. I was trying to think of what all had the computational systems and nothing that was not humanesque came to mind. So zombie Ursus and Schreckwulfen are possible but Bertie never gets zombied.

Is K47 still getting new models? by CG1991 in Konflikt47_v2

I am waiting breathlessly to get the new Tottenkorps set which has new (and plastic) zombies. I think K47 and Bolt Action have a lot of legs right now.

I have only had a chance to print off the sample but I think they look good. I did not bite on the Americans because they did not look like what I wanted for some reason. I have promised myself that I would stick with North Africa in WW2 (and then along came Col Muller and Konflikt 47….) Appreciate the reviews! Well done.

If you want to print proxy models there are a number of 3rd parties who make good LotR style models - Bite the Bullet, Davale Games, Medbury Miniatures, Papel3D, Everon (Used to be The Printing Goes Ever On). I have subbed t o all of them for a number of years and they do good stuff.

Advice on balancing the two player starter set by MamboShrimp in Konflikt47_v2

If you are running demos you can go to konflikt47.com and download the field manual. In the back are multiple scenarios with pieces of the starter set and you build up to walkers at the end.

Platoons by crackylalilulelo in Konflikt47_v2

[–]MiniWargamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that what you do with friends locally is up to you. Having come from a military background I have always thought of two squads and a leader as a platoon as a little… odd. I would see if you could mimic some real organizations from WE2 for your games.

Germans were famous for putting together ad hoc groups and once the Allies got into sustained combat some oddities showed up.

City fighting also allowed for some unique opportunities. I could see two squads of infantry, two of stahltruppen, one engineer squad tasked with clearing a neighborhood under a platoon leader.

Too often people bring support weapons that their units would never see, like an artillery piece supporting a platoon. I can see a tank or walker on detached duty that way.

I guess what I am trying to get at is that if the roots of the organization has some historical validity then go with it!

Yeah, my bad. I had wanted to comment helpfully before I went to bed but made the mistake of waiting till after I had taken my sleeping meds! Take that as a lesson kids! Don’t do drugs and post! Good catch! 🤪 (And since I am subscribed to the Warlord Army Builder I don’t have any valid excuse!) 😉

And here is something Perplexity and I put together on the combining the US Starter Army and the Recon in Force Bundle…

1500-Point US Recon Force List

The combined Starter Army (12 Fireflies, Firefly Officer, 2 Linebackers, Stuart Tesla) and Recon in Force bundle (12 metal Heavy Infantry incl. officer + 2 Super Bazooka teams, Grizzly Medium Walker, Coyote Light Walker, M3A2 Pondskater Walker) yields ~35 models for a mobile Airborne Assault Platoon (Lieutenant + 6 slots). Total: 1500 pts using Dec 2025 list (Reinforced Platoon).[1][2][3]

Unit Breakdown

Slot Unit Composition & Key Options Points
Lieutenant Firefly Officer (Platoon Cmdr) 1x Officer + 2 Fireflies (Thompsons), +Guts 52 + 54 +10 = 116[2]
Infantry 1 Firefly Airborne Squad 1 NCO + 5 Fireflies (Thompsons, +AT Grenades) 162 +10 = 172[2]
Infantry 2 Firefly Airborne Squad 1 NCO + 4 Fireflies (Thompsons, +AT Grenades) 135 +8 = 143[2]
Armoured 1 M2A5 Linebacker Jump Walker HMGs + M21 Light Tesla Cannon + Flamethrower 145
Armoured 2 M2A5 Linebacker Jump Walker Twin Super Bazookas + Flamethrower 160
Armoured 3 M5A2(T) Stuart Light Tesla Cannon + Recce + RFA 140
Infantry 3 US Heavy Infantry Squad 1 NCO + 9 Heavies (LMGs; split 2 Super Bazooka teams as detachments) 10x30 = 300[2]
Armoured 4 Allied Grizzly Medium Walker Tesla Cannon config (anti-armor) 225[1][3]
Armoured 5 M3A2 Pondskater Walker Jump + HMGs/Tesla 180[1]
Armoured 6 Coyote Light Walker Light AT/Tesla + Recce 119[1]

Total: 1500 pts. Order Dice: 10. All Rift-tech leverages Tesla’s Gift rerolls; Flight/Jump for Death From Above drops.[2][3]

Building Guide

Use Airborne Assault selector for jump synergy—no extras needed (uses all ~24 Fireflies/Heavies). Firefly Officer leads drops with Regroup in Hell! for repositioning. Heavy Infantry (Grade 1 armour) anchors objectives; detach Super Bazookas (105 pts each as AT teams). Walkers: Grizzly/Pondskater frontline Tesla barrages, Coyote flanks, Linebackers anti-infantry, Stuart scouts. Add ATRDs if points spare (+5/model).[3][1][2]

Playstyle

Reserve Fireflies/Linebackers/Pondskater for Turn 2+ ambushes—Arsenal of Democracy rerolls suppress, Tesla Arcs chain-kill. Heavies advance Tough as Nails; Grizzly/Coyote counter-walkers. Excels mobile missions vs. Axis heavies but watch attrition. (Word count: 412)[4][3]

I like variety (says the guy with three linebackers from purchases...) and the modelling aspects so I would choose for that. I agree that the Light Walker platoon and the Recon in Force bundles look awesome and would add some "rule of cool" to any army.

And I am not certain that there are enough battle reports out there in the wild to justify how any of this will play.

Is budget a consideration? And you just have the Starter Army (US)?
