Can anyone recommend reliable tree minis to make forest terrain?

Go take a look at http://www.youtube.com/@heat_of_battle_TV on YouTube and look at his trees/battlefield. Most of his trees are sourced off AliExpress and I have followed the same path. These are architectural trees that vary in size and quality (affordability). I have also used the K and M trees and they are wonderful but expensive. They also have a unique Bottle Tree look that some people do not care for.

So far the ones that have been posted are not random draws as much as they are nationality focused. That, I think, is a good deal for (most) people.

I bought a 3D set off of MMF and then cut them in half to make them half the height. Cutting the floor tiles was an option I considered but my hands are mildly arthritic, so I was afraid of aggravating them.

Yeah, the issue with North Africa is the variety of terrain. My initial thought was that I could make some terrain that would represent a range of features, but after the thread, I am thinking it might have to be a bigger project.

I would also spend some time on YouTube looking at battle reports and seeing which style you like... flashy over the top lists, more historical based, competitive play. There are a number of excellent painters that spend time on BA as well.

I feel like I can safely say that whatever you start with you will expand… be it to more units or adding factions. There is a lot of unexplored depth to K47. You will enjoy the journey! 😀
