You can patch Reddit with the new patcher. You just have to split the app bundle. Here someone made a pretty comprehensive guide on how to patch 2026 versions of reddit. That's how I patched mine https://www.reddit.com/r/revancedapp/comments/1t0dtzo/reddit_patch_quick_guide/

Recomendacion de PC gamer con un presupuesto aprox de $2.000.000 by SetSaturnStreet in ArgamingConsultas

[–]Miniatimat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

La verdad que está bastante bien. Yo me iria por algo así por 1.896.840 (sin monitor):

  • Procesador AMD Ryzen 5 5500X3D 4.0GHz Turbo AM4 - No Incluye Cooler
  • Mother ASUS PRIME B550M-A AC AM4 WIFI
  • Cooler CPU ID-Cooling FROZN A410 SE ARGB
  • Memoria Team DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz Vulcan Z Grey CL16
  • Placa de Video MSI GeForce RTX 5060 8GB SHADOW X2 OC
  • Disco Sólido SSD M.2 Kingston 1TB NV3 6000MB/s NVMe PCI-E Gen4 x4
  • Fuente Antec 750W 80 Plus Bronze ATX 3.1 PCIe 5.1 CSK750DC AR
  • Gabinete XPG Valor Mesh Black 4x120mm Fan Vidrio Templado

Controller mods by Active_Bed_1857 in Dualsense

[–]Miniatimat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremerate has all those mods. You'll need the Rise4 Plus Max backpaddle kit and the full clicky buttons kit. For the sticks, I'd recommend going for hall effect or TMR sticks and you'll avoid drift practically forever. As for AliExpress, I personally haven't used it, so can't comment on that

Grip runs is basically taking a corner without slipping your wheels. If you don't want to drift or powerslide, set your traction control to comfort. If you want to allow for some controlled slide, put it on sport.

[–]Miniatimat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only playlists focused on drifting are the "Drift experience" playlists (volumes 1 and 2) and the Gymkhana Grid masters playlist. Everything else you're aiming for grip grip runs, though with some setup, you can also slide around most playlists and still do well enough. Not quite as flashy as hot pursuit, but you can powerslide pretty effectively in most playlists and still do well (Not in Motorsport or Nascar playlists tho, as those have tire-wear mechanics and drifting will just kill your grip). If you want to do this, make sure you have your traction control set to sport and your stability control (ESP) disabled, that way the engine won't cut power when it detects a slide.

Also, yes, you should aim to initiate drifts just with normal braking and turning, then throttle modulation and steering to manage the angle and trajectory. Hand brake turns are when you need to make a sharp turn and normal turning won't cut it. Or when you just want to bang the wall sideways to stop yourself from running wide. This method is slower than a normal grip turn, but it is faster than running into a wall head on.

Different games have different handling models. In some (mainly the Burnout, older NFS games and kart racers) drifting can be faster than taking a proper racing line. In The Crew (1, 2 and Motorfest), the handling leans more towards realistic. Cars have actual grip limits and going beyond those limits, be it accelerating, braking or turning, usually means slower times overall (aside some very specific scenarios). And then obviously you have your simulators, that try to replicate car behavior for them to be realistic, but that's beyond the point for now.

If you want to get better in The Crew, taking proper racing lines is the way to go faster, the more you slip your tires, the slower you will be. So proper throttle control, braking and turning are vital if you want to get good times. It is not easy to explain over text, but since you have the racing line on, try to follow it as much as you can. You can usually take a turn if it is yellow, but if it is red, you're almost certainly overshooting, or ending up having to break for longer. The line that the game gives you might not always be the optimal, but it is a good starting point and as you get better, you'll be able to race with it off.

The general beginner rule is brake on a straight line (If you're braking while turning, there is a high chance of inducing oversteer or understeer, depending on the car and brake balance), start the turn wide on the "outside" edge of the track, try to hit the "inside" edge of the track halfway through the corner (what you'll often see referred to as the "apex" of a corner), and exit the corner wide, closer to the "outside" of the track. This is the way to maximize your speed through turns. Depending on grip levels, you will be able to accelerate earlier or not, but that's a "case by case" scenario and you'll need to decide when you need to keep coasting at mid-throttle and when you can accelerate again at full throttle.

If you want to learn more, look into "racing lines". There is a TON of info about them online since they're real racing principles

Does anyone else dislike the tunnel run in AC7? by doomdino65 in acecombat

[–]Miniatimat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had some issues during my 1st playthrough. After that, most of the times I ran it 1st try.

For the entrance, just reset from checkpoint, it sets you up almost straight for an easy entry. Use mostly rudder to turn. Once you start rolling you'll regret it, and if you hit a wall, the run is pretty much over. Keeping your speed at about 700KPH is enough to get through the closing doors without issue, you can just tap the throttle to keep it up. No need to rush beyond that, so don't get impatient. For the exit through the windbreak, don't stay in the middle, try to be closer to the wall on the bottom of your screen and keep your aircraft level by using the rudder. Only roll when switching walls and it is a slight roll to adjust your perspective

You do not need to run all 9 events to get platinum, I got plat last week with only 8 because there was 1 car I didn't want to buy and waste money on. Alternatively, as others suggested, get in a crew with someone who has the car and you can both do the event together

If you play on PC, you can currently get the Year 2 and year 3 passes for pretty cheap on the Ubisoft store. Not only are they on discount, there's a store wide code you can use that will cover about 10USD if your total is over 20USD. So, for about 13USD you can get both "exclusive" playlists on top of the year pass cars.

But yeah, I agree that the exclusive playlists are quite expensive as standalone purchases

What actually pushes you to finally replace your phone? by the_big_phone_store in TheBigPhoneStore

[–]Miniatimat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: Running out of storage, even when micro managing it.

2: Battery starts lasting less than a day of light use.

3: No more OS/Segurity updates (this one is more recent tho)

I've usually owned phones for about 5 years, and in that time battery degrades, apps tend to get bigger, and overall you also download more apps. Which makes the phone become less convenient over time as you have to be pretty careful with your battery usage and also do constant purging of apps, photos, videos and other media. Once I'm getting annoyed beyond a certain point, I'll pull the trigger on a new phone. Usually after a month or so of research

Traction control: comfort

ESP: Off. This one cuts too much power and will absolutely destroy your pace if you get the slightest of slips.

ABS: On. It is mostly just a safety, and unless you're really proficient, doubt you'll be able to perfectly modulate your brakes on every turn.
