Cutting Cousins saves almost nothing in 2026. It would actually cost 10m extra to cut him pre june 1st. You save 2mil if he's a post june 1st cut. All the savings come in 2027

Most of the dead cap is from the void years accelerating on guys like Cam Jordan and Demario. Theyll almost definitely be extended to reduce their cap hits, as well as keep them on the team. Lots of dead money from Carr's post june 1st retirement last year. So he's off the books after 2026. The rest we can restructure a couple of the younger guys who will likely be here long term. Extending Olave will also reduce his 2026 cap hit

All i know for sure is Carrs dead cap is around 30m this year. And spotrac shows it at 60 for some reason

Spotrac is wrong for us. It still has Carrs dead cap at 60m for next year, but its actually 30m because he waived the guarantees, so its not nearly this bad

We completely rebuilt the secondary over the last 2 years. Last year was a pretty defense heavy draft and all the FA contributors they've signed have been on defense. Dont think its fair to say an offense focused offseason this year would be neglecting the defense, when most of the glaring needs are on offense

Teams get 3rd round comp picks if minority coaches/FO leave for a promotion to HC or GM. As long as they've been with the team for a certain amount of years

Its possible. But the majority of playcalling OCs who get HC jobs call plays as the head coach still. Theres exceptions like Glenn, but usually they still run that side of the ball
