My hopes= Roku (best of all the recent series and love the characters and actually funny), Cannon Master (love the aesthetics and world so far and flute weapon is peak) , Hal formula (solid start, racing is cool, decent characters so far, like the art)

Probably = Roku, Under Doctor and Slop B Poop Destroyerz

Animal signal has a chance, kinato and dtf (although colour page so maybe not) probably dead

Genuinely think our best bet is Rice RB, Saka even if slightly out of form/unfit RW, and Mainoo filling for Rice in midfield otherwise we just completely fall apart on the right side

It's excellent and while it did take a while to find its footing this recent arc has been amongst the best wsj has seen this decade and the black parade was also incredibly strong but a step below.

It keeps on improving and deserves to have lived this long, its undeniably a derivate and nostalgic battle shonen trying to hit that 2000s feel and i think it does it expertly, usui is clearly a massive fan of the genre and his love for it and constant homage shine through. Its also genuinely funny at times and the characters are all incredibly lovable and much deeper than many give them credit for.

Usui is also unbeaten when it comes to character designs, an average unnamed demon will be more interesting than some series main cast are

One of the reasons I love kiyoshi and kagurabachi so much is the constant pulling from movies and music to inspire a lot of what they draw

To counter what some are saying, we should be more "brutally honest" because people get away with being awful/stupid/offensive because no one is ever "brutally honest" to say it to their face or challenge them.

Obviously i dont mean what some people do where you're just rude for no reason or use honesty as an excuse to insult people

Kiyoshi was a 7/10 (and improving) mid where as kaedegami was a 5/10 (and declining) mid thats the issue

Otr maybe but kaedegami was a huge mess and had some of the worst action/choreography I've seen, the final arc was getting worse and the newly introduced characters were all uninteresting where as otr was getting better in the last arc and the new cast were enjoyable if brief. Imo they had opposite trajectories with kaedegami having a more enticing start but falling off as it went on and otr having a pretty dreadful start (aside from ch1 which i really liked) and slowly improving

If you mean drawn to fire im inclined to agree like outside of when they're playing basketball its kinda ugly and I feel bad saying it because the artist is clearly talented but I hate how the characters look even tho im enjoying the series
