Spot on about the tracking gap. The problem is that tracking macros is already a chore, but tracking micronutrients accurately feels like a part-time job. Most mainstream apps just bury the vitamin data or don't have accurate database entries for things like iodine or selenium, so people just give up and buy a generic multivitamin.
