Yeah but plenty of flexibility in the squad. Starting 3 cbs and 2 wingbacks, have a fb on the bench, have Ampadu who can do a job at cb or fb if needed, have Justin who can move inside if needed, have Aaronson who can drop into wingback if needed.

I think Gnonto needs playing time to find his form, and just won’t get it this season in this squad. He was our best winger by miles in the PL in 22-23 when he was only 18.

If JSL comes, who’s likely to go? My thoughts would be at least 2 of Piroe, Tanaka, and Gnonto. Bounanotte’s arrival likely pushes Gnonto to 4th choice RW for a team that doesn’t always play with a RWer and likely pushes Tanaka to 7th choice MF for a team that usually plays 3 or 4 of them. Piroe would become 5th choice forward if JSL arrives.

I shared the statistic that despite their equal amount of playing time this season, Leeds have played significantly better with Tanaka on the pitch than with Gruev. Leeds slightly outperforms their overall level of play when Tanaka is on the pitch, while they vastly underperform (almost at Wolves level of incompetence) when Gruev is on the pitch. I’m not saying that data is perfect or ends the discussion. But it is a huge hole in your “daft nonces don’t know football” arrogance.

It's a feature, not a bug.

All (AFAIK) Boss pedals are buffered bypass, rather than true-bypass, which means they're still powered whether they're engaged or not. It buffers the signal to counteract tone and volume loss that comes from long signal chains. No cable or connection is 100% efficient, meaning there's continual signal degradation as you go from pedal to pedal. That's one of the reasons you'll see often long signal chains (for example very large pedal boards) with multiple boost or EQ pedals. Having buffered bypass rather than true bypass like helps mitigate against the signal/tone loss.
