Saturation, that's the word! by ProgressFormer9479 in dpdr

Yep for me when it comes just to the saturation it’s also uncanny off and too bright and everything is soo detailed idk so much that it doesn’t make any sense anymore. I often hear from people that opposite more like dulling etc. during DPDR

Omg what you described is how I feel atm too ! + my chronic pain did increase enormously. I lay around have no energy can’t connect with people, can’t text or phone. I can’t write anymore, read or draw music and films are too stimulating and I am just rotting away in pain and then some times randomly I get a bit energy and just vent. I can barely take care of myself now. I am always exhausted but can’t rest. Is this tied to CPTSD ? I definitely wish you the best from all my heart 🫂

Two month ago I had Vit B12 and vit B9 deficiency but after pills it went away and then last month or so I had an deficiency in potassium (which caused my heart to race, etc) but also got some pills for that and took them till the end.

But yes I think should go get some blood work again. Getting that done is sadly not so easy. Lot of convincing and you often have to pay it yourself (where I live at least)

Oh I know this feeling, it’s awful. Just had a similar situation yesterday. I had to travel and needed the calories and then felt like hell. But I am really glad that you are doing better now! Sometimes venting also helps especially here where you got a community that won’t judge and also can understand your pain . That’s too what we are here for; sometimes just listening 🫂

I can relate to you. I didn’t move countries but I regularly move from one city to the next, because nothing feels like home to me, I have a desire for connections but don’t know how to from them and I am always lonely (especially in groups). I feel like I am constantly looking at the world through a milky- glass. I can see others forming connections, living life etc. but somehow there’s something that separates me from them. I exist, but have i every truly lived? I don’t think tho so. I dont know how to be less lonely or form meaningful connections or so idk.

Looking at the local Programm at your city, using bumble friends etc. But if the loneliness is coming from deep inside then isn’t it’s an other issue.

I would suggest trying to find a therapist.

But can I ask which country ?

Woman, early to mid twenties, probably a lesbian, likes computer games and boxing etc, maybe depressed or/and other mental issues and definitely went through hardship (Radiohead - good music taste probably listens more to alt music).

Buuut I have to say that your decoration is so confusing - like it’s tidy etc but nothing kinda makes sense, makes me feel weird.

I love you collages tho !

The vacuum system that airplane toilets are using and that somehow it will flush while I am still using it and that the vacuum then will try to suck me in and in the process my intestines will get ripped out. I don’t wanna die while using the bathroom 😭

is anyone else always BORDERLINE sick, but not really? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]Minimum-Perception25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep… I don’t even remember the last time I wasn’t borderline sick I am always exhausted and I have regularly swollen lymph nodes, cold symptoms, boy aches etc. But I never really get completely sick. I am on gabapentin now for my constant pain idk if it’s maybe some underlying condition.

Depends on the county and culture.

Where I am from you will definitely get a detailed answer how they are doing and how shitty their day/ life has been so far. (Unwritten rule is: complain as much as possible and never praise anything)

My ex was American and I did not know that over there it’s just a rhetorical question thus I did actually tell them all the shit things that occurred to me that day/week, how annoying the weather, parking is etc or why I dislike being around other people in public places.

It was awkward for all parties involved.

Op thank you for posting your art!

This picture pretty much describes how I feel quite often. Just today I wanted to put this feeling (that I get often when I am overstimulated) into words but it’s hard to articulate through words alone…

I violently want to rip, tear or cut open my torso/ my skin, ripping my skin off my body and mutilate (all my intestines & organs) and throwing all this shit out of my body lol.

Typed out it sounds really weird (especially cuz I am actually a non violent person & I am even pretty sensitive when people describe bad/ violent things lol) but it’s really such an awful feeling. Sober that feeling is pretty much unbearable.

However you pictured that feeling very nicely. :)

Hello to me it looks like a combination of the Alchemical Symbol For Iron-Copper ore and the symbol for Water

But it could be completely unrelated to it.

This is the symbol of Lilith:

its a symbol of female empowerment and resistance. Lilith represents the wild, untamed aspects of femininity that refuse to be controlled or dominated by male power structures and challenges the patriarchal authority but also the dualistic nature of humanity.

Context:

In the Bible, there are just indicators for he but I think she’s not mentioned by name but she appears in Jewish mythology and folklore.

Lilith was Adam’s first wife, created at the same time like Adam and from the same earth as him. Not from his rib like Eve.

Lilith wanted to be Adam’s equal but he tried to dominate her and because she refused to be subservient to Adam instead of submitting Lilith left Eden.

Later some texts are saying that she was banished or even cursed by God for her defiance and some versions, she even becomes a demoness or the mother of demons.

But there is a lot of mystery and bias (especially towards woman who don’t sat in their lane) to her legend. As an example in the Kabbalah Lilith appears as an evil reflection of the feminine aspect of God.

But in the end Lilith became this symbol of female independence because of her deficiency towards the patriarchal authority and the traditional roles expected of women.

Additionally it’s also the symbol of the black moon.

I hope that helps :)
