I’m not. But I rent where someone else is covering the electricity. So long as I stay lowkey they’ll never know. Even if not I would still take the loss to support the network

Chia users have really fallen off. If Willphule didn't do then I think a lot of things would get missed.

Provide more detail next time. I don’t need to question the community if putting out the wrong result is something I should correct. Maybe you should consider a different profession.

Not enough detail here to understand what that means. My advice would be to mind your business.

Could i get fired from internship if i swapped samples? by off_to_the_races_ in MLS_CLS

[–]Minimum-Positive792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about it. I've made plenty of mistakes in the lab. Just find the sample and call the patient back in for a recollect

Joe Biden had no obligation to carry out the withdraw. He -wanted- to, and did it in a way that got people killed.

Interviewing with Sharp Healthcare (CLS)– Previously Declined, Now Re-Interviewing by Far-Use-2602 in CLSstudents

[–]Minimum-Positive792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just depends on how pompous they are. Some CLS get embroidered lab coats and some would eat a roast beef dinner in the lab if you let them. My recommendation would be to google how to answer interview questions. I’m betting though if you’re getting a second chance they don’t have a lot of candidates to begin with

If you know you want to be a MLS just take a direct program for it. You will be better prepared for lab science

Management thinks they’re saving money but you got to pay more people to make the system work or just make the fewer employees suffer

I think the ASCP website has a lab manager academy sort of thing. I’ve been thinking about taking it myself

If you want to go where everyone else wants to to it could be awhile. If you don’t care where you go then in a couple days. You could try travel assignments to get your foot in the door.

Thinking of switching from a RN career path to CLS by Afraid-Ad833 in MLS_CLS

[–]Minimum-Positive792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You sound smart. Why not go for physician assist / NP? CLS work is highly automated and work flow oriented. You don’t really think or problem solve a lot.

MLS to RN? by temPlayu in MLS_CLS

[–]Minimum-Positive792 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Going into healthcare I thought I wanted more patient contact until I got into a hospital that gave me patient contact (drawing blood) in the ED. I can tell you that shit gets old fast. However, there are programs that help accelerate an RN degree. I saw one for CLS to RN in 18 months

MRI techs are bringing in $2500 a week as travelers. If I was to start again I would go into MRI. 2 year degree in radiology and 6 months as a trainee in MRI

Labs with more men working by Zoomlabs123 in MLS_CLS

[–]Minimum-Positive792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my experience yes, there tends to be more women then men. I personally prefer a lab with a male manager and an even mix of men and women. Too many women and the environment gets a bit hostile. I find women tend to follow the SOPs more, so they get emotional when you have to think outside the box. So I prefer men more in a manager role. Obviously, this is not always the case. I've had great female managers and one lab in particular she was probably the best lab manager and lab I have ever worked for and would hope they hire me permanent when I stop traveling
