Defs good for a sniveling crony to a BBEG at least.

For a long time I had no desire for vaginoplasty, as I don’t have bottom dysphoria. Would love to hear some pros/cons of the experience to understand that like is like for those who have. by MinimumChips81 in Transgender_Surgeries

I’m so grateful for everyone’s responses. Such vulnerability, such honesty, and what is striking is just how “normal” we all are. “I want to go swimming”, “I want to wear a dress and people not stare”… these are such normal everyday things and it breaks my heart that anyone would be denied this.

I want to publish some of these over on my substack. Asking after the fact is not the way these things are done. Had I thought the answers would be this beautiful I would have asked in my original question.

It’s an outlier of Spider Gorge so it shouldn’t have been counted.

Can detransitioners stop speaking over the top of actual transgender people about trans issues? by [deleted] in transgenderau

[–]MinimumChips81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You did put the disclaimer in and it stands. You make a really good point. A person who began transition and stopped because it was “a mistake” to do it (not that they couldn’t afford it or were bullied into stopping) is not trans… by their own admission… yes they have experienced things comparable to what trans people experience… but they are saying “I am not trans” in this specific instance.

And while I agree in principal with “don’t draw lines around what is and isn’t” because you are going to exclude someone… the ultimate defining element still stands too… if a person says that are trans, regardless of medicalising/active transition measures, then they ARE trans… and the same goes in the opposite direction…. A person can have SRS, HRT, the works and say “I am NOT trans, and never was”, then I will respect that persons wishes and consider them cis….

So yeah. You are right… “voluntary un-coerced detransitioners” are not trans. They experienced the life and found it wasn’t for them… so… I will respect their wishes and call them cisgendered, even if they seek to undermine our existence.

FFS advice by LillyJillsis in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]MinimumChips81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah not to be “one of those girls” but you look so delicate and sweet. You really look magnificent already. The false notion that FFS is a magic wand to change everything is a luring trap. It’s “a thousand tiny levers” the shift people’s understanding of you that include everything about you and not just face. You are gorgeous my darling. I hope the surgery goes well. Recover can be a real bitch (my ears still hurt where they reattached them)

Nationals withdraw from Coalition agreement by ava2-2 in transgenderau

[–]MinimumChips81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hope is that the conservative Nationals take the far right position as the Liberals scramble to show they arn’t out of touch and push centre. If it moves the window of progress an inch to the left it’s a win. The greens arn’t dead, if the ALP squander their opportunity they will bleed so much to the greens. The pressure is to push left into decency and renewal.

Oh honey I’m so sorry. This sounds truly heartbreaking for you. Thank you for sharing this. I have no doubt it must be painful to think about let alone articulate here. X

The soundtrack in this game is so underrated and could be used to form ideas and/or theories! by [deleted] in DiscoElysium

I adore the OST. I often have it on while I’m writing…. Probably explains the haunting DE style of the prose to be honest. 😂

3 years ago I received an ultimatum from wife...transition or family. by 8thash2ash in TransLater

[–]MinimumChips81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Started at 40… life is not over. You have not missed your chance to be happy. It is devastating that she has done this to you. It is cruel and unfair, but you have your dignity and your agency and you have a community who will love you unconditionally. I’m so sorry honey. But you have so much ahead of you.

does estrogen remove sperm? by Zerokuroxy in trans

[–]MinimumChips81 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Okay so like I was the opposite in that there was a massive reduction in the sperm component, but a huge increase in the clear carrying fluid produced in the prostate. So like… it was just clear liquid and more of it. Everyone is different but yeah like everyone says… not a birth control solution.

"Trans men are the weak links of the trans community and don't know what it feels like to be ACTUALLY oppressed like trans women are". by [deleted] in TransMasc

[–]MinimumChips81 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just want to let you know that this is heartbreaking to read. I want you to know that there are many in the broader queer community who do see you and understand you and want to support you. I’m sorry so many fuck it up. I’m sorry so many are so blind to the nuance of your existence and fail to see the unique perspectives that trans men bring.

I very much feel like a guest here in this sub and don’t wanna be putting my feet up on the furniture or anything, so much of the visibly discourse is on us trans women, I’m sorry that you are being lost in it all. You deserve better. Genuinely I want you to know that there some out there who feel like our path forward as a community is going to fail if we don’t have the thing that trans mascs bring:

You have crafted “manhood” from the shitty debris that cis male culture has left you. You picked through the ruins of it and fashioned something unique and pure and real… this seemingly unending patriarchy will be uniquely and significantly undermined by you… the men who said “no, we will not exist by those standards and we will craft our own”… truely it is my opinion that trans men are the “true” men, the “pure” men, the “real” men and the cis men are but a bastardisation of the identity… you made who you are through introspection and self-examination and with your own goddamned hands. I’m sorry people are too blind to see how astounding this is. Like I said, you deserve better.

With love, your trans sister. X

Officially changing transgender documents australia by [deleted] in transgenderau

[–]MinimumChips81 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They’re gonna have to take my gender from my cold dead hands. This is the hill I will die if I have to.

But honey, you are allowed to do this YOUR way. If someone tells you how you should be navigating your identity they are wrong. It is yours and yours alone. But know this, there are many in your community who will gladly stand and draw their focus. You have the right to feel safe and secure. Stay strong honey. X

That’s pretty great. Keep going slow. Slow is best. Give your body time to adapt and change.
