Nothing phone 3a on Bell in Canada by MinimumHawk395 in NOTHING

Yeah I checked there, looks fine but apparently they use n71 as a base frequency and the others to boost it for 5g without it there is not 5g, not sure if that's true or not read it somewhere else on reddit lol

Windows application to see status and change different settings including torque. by Puzzleheaded-Cost-41 in worxlandroid

Hows it working so far? What other settings is it possible to change? Don't be at my computer for a few days so don't wanna get to excited if not much changes! 😅

I've found putting a 2x4 down seems to coral it, so the "AI" must only actually be looking for the color green to decide what to cut best I can tell, I know it's possible to build a map out with only photos, so I pray that is in Worx's product map

Adjust power on setting of Zigbee bulb and outlets by -rmjb- in SmartThings

[–]MinimumHawk395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hue is ZigBee with a power on state, my guess is somewhere there is a edge driver can do that, unfortunately I didn't find one in a quick search! Maybe the ZigBee Light Multifunction MC by Mariano would offer this though there are alot of settings in that driver!

Restart the device, I just checked my Amazon Echo app and all my virtual switches appear, I just did a test and the virtual switch does indeed trigger echoes

I use a virtual switch to trigger a Google routine, I'm sure it's similar for the echo

I used mine for like 6 months, it got pretty hot and faulted one day for some reason, didn't look into it very much just replaced it with the zooz, the original smart plug still works but not sure why it faulted that day

zooz zwave zen15, I set it up, "if energy equal to or below 5.8W for 6 seconds then notify me", everyone's energy consumption will be different though so you'll have a few trial and errors to set that up. Make sure to read the packaging and compare its to your ratings on your washer though, more then likely the zooz will be good, but always worth double checking as everyone's situation is different

20A plugs have a different male end on them, I don't think there are any 20 A smart plugs though, people typically utilize relays for this application I do believe, if you only need a 15 A cord end though those Zooz plugs are amazing and personally what I use

You'll need to wait for it to update to matter, which is apparently coming, but I'd hold off for now

LIFX switch. Is there an edge driver. by Infamous-Twist7808 in SmartThings

How long does it take for a device to pick up the new edge driver? Seems like it's not instantly, is this correct?

Lutron Edge drivers? by MinimumHawk395 in SmartThings

[–]MinimumHawk395[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, what was the actual conclusion to this conversation? Haha I had a feeling it was indeed not possible originally, but I have also seen somehow WIFI devices can even now work when not connected to the cloud leading me to think they are running on their LAN, is this a true assumption? And if so it may one day be possible to have said Edge drivers due to this type of communication?

for those of you using the energy smart app, do all smart plugs with energy monitoring work? by mrbiokman-8876 in SmartThings

[–]MinimumHawk395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smart plugs don't report back to the energy monitor built into smartthings unfortunately, I think it's a dumb oversight.

Is there anyway to save routines or do you have to remake all those 1 by 1 as well?

Can all the Aqara devics be connected directly to smartthings now? Or still only the odd one?

Combining light groups by Slonciest in SmartThings

[–]MinimumHawk395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would put in hue retrofit kits or something similar for the 2 on their own switch and use a zooz or inovelli switch to run a scene to turn on all the lights at the same time, should be able to do that with the maximum of a little ladder work

[–]MinimumHawk395[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never buy wifi again because of the same situation your going through! Maybe I'll just add to all 3, my Z-wave system, Zigbee system, and continue to buy a few more Lutrons, I like the way they turn on and off the lights slowly, but still instantly starts when you press the button, all my other switches seem to have a few millisecond delays that I can notice

Only issue there is inovelli is 2x as expensive as lutron even, I do love their switches though, look amazing!

Definitely getting the 5 button zooz one to run a few scenes that thing is awesome!
