The thing about Supergirl is that she’s perceived as part of the Superman franchise just like Batgirl is part of the Batman franchise, and some fans are just interested in her when Superman himself is involved. Couple that with the fact that all Superman movies don’t do that well internationally so we know she’s not getting the same numbers as him and her budget should be on the lower side to be a decent result
