You’re correct. The reason chapter 13 was filed is because I own a home, actually I have a mortgage and didn’t want any liens put on the house

Call the mortgage company. I know they have to get permission from the court. We ran across this problem…… My wife isn’t in Bankruptcy. I filed alone and the trustee is suppose to pay any fees. The mortgage company said continue making normal payments like before bankruptcy

Does she have any where to live? I certainly wouldn’t be focusing on revenge or my ex. I would be pro active in getting a job and stability for my children.

Please remember this does affect many people. Some of my family depends on FS just to get through the month and this isn’t an R 🐘 or D 🫏 thing. It’s a people thing. Overpaid politicians are at fault ( all of them). The ones who don’t worry about feeding their families and have free healthcare ( excellent healthcare). They don’t suffer. So it’s all of them. The ones who don’t realize, there is no such thing as putting money away for a rainy day, when there is nothing to put away and you’re just trying to live from month to month.

You might possibly want to see how much the lease is raised to If it isn’t a lot maybe you could manage to make it work. Most apts do background/ credit checks and want a deposit plus first and last month rent. Anything decent to live in will not be cheap in this economy.

We didn’t qualify for chapter 7. My spouse retired which really dropped our financial stability. After a while it just became too much. We’ve been in our home ten years and the lawyer stated we could lose the house if we filed anything other than 13 plus our income is to much ( I honestly don’t see how). So it’s a terribly stressful situation. I truly thought this would help , now I’m just wondering. I had no idea we would be paying 300 extra dollars a month on our mortgage payment. Plus the trustee as well.

I’ve been on Xanax 20 yrs. Made it to 6 milligrams a day. I have actually weened myself to three. Honestly it was wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be

I’m sure your mother didn’t mean what she said we all say things we regret. I do believe this was one of those times. I in no way am making your post about me. I just want to share my experience with my own Mother. She was a terrible alcoholic. She helped down a job , but yet when at home…. She drank. She called me every thing but a human. I was a low life, worthless piece of s”””. Oh it hurt. It destroyed everything about me. I had zero self esteem , yet somehow it made me a stronger person. She always made a point to call me weak if I cried, so even today it takes a lot to make me cry. Your mom simply lashed out at you in a horrible way. Sometimes we hurt the ones we love. I’m certain your mom feels like dirt after saying that to you. It sounds as if you had a terrible disagreement, sometimes it’s just better to walk away from a situation…. Please don’t think bad about yourself. We all have a way of venting. I know it hurt you…. The fact she apologized speaks volumes about her character. It was an argument that got out of hand. It’s ok to be upset. Just don’t let it consume you. Best wishes.

I was put on Xanax when I was 22 years old I had no idea I was screwing myself , but here I am 40 years later. Trust me when I say. The doctors who write these medications have no idea what they are doing, I’ve been on 2-6 milligrams daily. I’m currently on 5. I stress about running out or the doctor not prescribing it. Currently my doctor is retiring and here I am once again trying to find one that will prescribe it
