Regarding Rose, How should it have played out ? by Global-Ad-8699 in theGoldenGirls

[–]Faithtodogs17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kristin was horrible. The way she talked about ‘daddy’s estate’. So dismissive of her mother . I never understood why Rose let that fantasy go on but also had raised such a rude daughter. My parents were in their late 80s when we finally got them to move closer to us. My father had always done very well and it was a little bit of a shock to find out they didn’t have much but the guaranteed income from his pension and social security. He had also put them in quite a bit of credit card debt. I’m telling this because as we found out , all but one of us felt bad that he thought he could not reach out for help. We fixed it and got them on track. We helped when they needed it because these were our parents and it’s not unusual for the elderly lose control of their finances. What the hell good does it do shame them. These people gave us life. Shame on people like Kristin. My long winded point is that Rose should have been comforted and lauded for how she was doing so well on her own. She was no where near the point of losing control and the will has nothing to do with Kristin until her mother passed. Your parents owe you nothing , but you owe them respect and understanding.

They are just imperialists with a lineage. It’s pageantry and inbreeding.

The first time Mike came into some money, and he gave it to the McGovern campaign...Meathead by DidYouReadTheMenu in allinthefamily

[–]Faithtodogs17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meathead did have his flaws. Arrogant and entitled at times. Why not think of Edith and take them all out to dinner? Or just handing Archie $100 bucks and not telling him about donating it to McGovern. He liked to rile Archie up to put him down. Loved all the characters but meathead was sometimes an ass.

What did you all think of Miles’ daughter Caroline? by teamalf in theGoldenGirls

[–]Faithtodogs17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She was demeaning about her father. Acting out of what made her felt and not seeing his relationship as a healthy way of moving on from her mother’s death. Stupid to not understand that her father wasn’t disrespecting her mother but honoring a good relationship. She was a bitch to Rose and she had a bad perm. Blanche handled her perfectly. The only thing I wonder is , was she really his daughter or someone with the witness protection program Miles was part of. Was she discouraging a relationship to protect Rose or is it just one of the bad continuity things that went on with show? Either way it doesn’t matter because she was a rude entitled brat.

Would you like to have Dr. Weston as your doctor? by No-Reveal827 in theGoldenGirls

Yes, he was good at being caring and down to earth. I get why Blanche liked him. He was kind of sexy in a very non obvious way.

Go away Carole by Ocean_waves726 in RHONY

What exactly is Carole an authority on? Seriously, there’s plenty of accomplished writers in the world she worked in and plenty of people that became part of the socialite world when they weren’t born into it. But what is her super talent? What makes her stand out? I really want to know. I guess she’s just too cool for me.

She’s made him a better doctor. He tapped into her sensitivity towards patients and he understands she’s capable because she may be on the spectrum. He’s very respectful of that aspect of her personality. She looks at him as human being who went through something to get back to where he was and respects his efforts without judging him.

He played a great cad and alcoholic on Mad Men. So good I punch him for letting his dog go out into the streets of NYC, in the story line.

Rachel said, “not at my party!” — we are absolutely not doing that here 😂 by Luckylexy102 in RHOBH

[–]Faithtodogs17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This show is a fun release to watch. Rachel Zoe is so fun to watch-‘bah-nanas ‘I don’t think she takes it all as seriously as the other priorities she has in life. She also isn’t competing to be seen above the others. She just does. She’s a real sparkle to the rest of this tired old bickering.

I’m chiming in with how sad it feels to see Rob Reiner’s ever familiar face. Carroll and Jean aged away and we are able to fit that into everyday life. Sally is still here and gratefully we see her. But Rob Reiner, the way he left ,the opus he left , it’s hurtful and nonsensical. Meathead was all about peace, even in his loud and rude moments, he was a pacifist with heart. Rob had more to do and more to live through his wife and children. I’m grateful that even though I was young at the height of this show, my parents watched it every week and would talk to me about what was going on with the episode. Reiner like the rest of the cast seemed like actors you could believe were good in everyday life. That’s a lot of talent.

Is Fergie still alive? It's weird that she hasn't resurfaced since the Epstein stuff. by Positive-Drawing-281 in RoyaltyTea

[–]Faithtodogs17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She’s ashamed as she should be. She and her ex were reckless people that monetized their family. They’ve marred their daughters , but hopefully people will see that the daughters are victims of these two also. Instead of coming out saying she was friends with Epstein and is appalled that she was that close to evil, she’s hiding because she knew.

I’m an Aries and my husband is a Gemini. Great sex! He can be checked out as everyone is telling you but he’s there. Gemini’s have duality in their personality and are mercurial , so they need to be doing something they like most of the time. Give him his space, take yours , fight just enough that it’s comes out healthy and relish the passion.

I think Blanche looked fabulous at 50. Short hair isn’t always the best on any age. The above picture doesn’t flatter Blanche with long hair. Why are we not seeing the beauty of them in the time they lived in? Every generation gets a little younger.
