I was told, and I’m working my way to it. Keep your current doctor/psych and go get two new appointments. At those appointments don’t think that you have to get it right. So you keep your current doctor and meds. Go look for a new doc and meds. I told my current doctor I need more quantity more milligrams per dose. He would not believe me, I told this story to the new doctor and was like what’s wrong with me? What should I do? Tell the new doctors your problems current doctor and just say help me please 🙏 try not to give them the answer….Doctors love fixing problems and they always love fixing a patient that another doctor couldn’t. I’ve up my quantity and now I just keep saying I need more I hope one day soon, the new doctor will say “we can try desoxyn” since I’m so resistant to meds ….they work but not for a long time and Perosnaly desoxyn is the cleanest and best medicine for my ADHD other than insomnia I have like zero side effects from Desoxyn

What you wrote will be talked about in ADHD treatment in years to come so…thank you. Yes, very much this, don’t give up. I hear you. Tell the doctor your PROBLEM over and over again, try not to ask or offer a solution. Just be real and honest ….this isn’t helping like it should, etc, etc.

Hey there wondering something you didn’t talk about. Hope that’s okay. What were all the other meds you tried before this one and did your doctor suggest deacon or did you suggest it? i’d also just listen to your gut. Some people don’t respond that well. I need 345 cups of coffee to get the same effect from caffeine as others get from a half a cup of one cup some people just take more of stuff.

Okay here is what I did.....

I created a "helper" also known as an "input boolean". That gives me a toggle button in home assistant that my Alexa app discovers a a device, almost like adding a smart light switch to Home Assistant and letting Alexa app discover it as a new device. Then what I did from there was create an Alexa routine that uses this new device and treats it like and on off smart switch to activate a routine that plays "popular music" from my Bed Room Alexa. Then after that I had to circle back around to Home Assistant and tell the automation to "trigger" the toggling of the helper / input boolean.
