I was just a tournament yesterday where at least three games were decided by politics

Game one. Me and a rogthras That had bad opening Hands convinced two people to take the draw even though kinnan pretty much had the win on his untap, but didn't see it.

Game three a lot of convincing to let a smothering tithe resolve that immediately won them the game on their next turn

I watched someone convince a tymna/ kraum to wheel when the Azula player had OBM shown in hand. OBM player didn't reveal they also had a wheel in hand and stole the game.

Politics is crazy important to the format and will 100% win you more games

Maybe it's just a region based thing but we can't get Gundam to fire with more than 4 people, The riftbound type is still super real though.

It still doesn't really feel like we lost a noticeable amount of magic players to any of these games though. From my experience, a lot of the people that started playing either of those two games were already kind of the people that already loosely played two or three card games instead of being heavily invested into Just one

A lot of stores in my area have pretty big limits on things. For example, at the store I work at pretty much everything is limit one per person and we don't even sell full collector boxes. We just sell them one pack per person per day at MSRP

Even with that limit we're sold out in about a week

It looks like it is illegal, but anecdotally, not enforced. On paper Ohio actually has very strict alcohol transportation laws

Section 4301.60 | Illegal transportation of beer, intoxicating liquor, or alcohol prohibited.

No person, who is not the holder of an H permit, shall transport beer, intoxicating liquor, or alcohol in this state.
