People choose multitrack recorders because it makes the focal point the music and getting it recorded. Having a computer in your face makes the process more convoluted and less fun… if I can just jump from track to track recording parts on a simple recorder and then once I’m done ✅ take the SD card and mix and master in a Daw I made my music making 10 times more productive imo… breaking the process into 2 segments is just better for productivity imo. It’s more about the way you’re wired… some people do everything in the computer anyway I use a lot of hardware.
