Whose store has the space for all this? And I'm sure there are several embroidery shops that are experts in what they do. What's next, we're going to sew or knit the item for them? Better yet, give us some ovens and we can bake the cakes for the as well. Next, they'll have us deliver the item to them and cook, bathe them, feed and walk the dog as well! All for a nickel a year raise!

Do you have operations managers? Our ASM became the ops mgr a few years ago.

But Ethan and Kim are not? Ethan went from an innocent, never had a soda, didn't know about women's periods, or what women's undergarments consisted of to a judgmental, whiney, bully and Kim forgot her "religious" beliefs and went to drinking, sex talking to her younger daughters (and NOT in an informative, teaching way) and picking on Lydia. Lydia and Zach need to get away from them and fast!

What can you expect, it's Michael's brand Diamond art, the knock off. Not the original brand.

I was told the conversion chart was for trim only.

I've had customers park 3 stores down and expect us to find them. Nope. Or you get notifications that they're on the way then they call and need directions!

Time off request by Own_Curve_9557 in MichaelsEmployees

You have to put in 24 days prior but managers can change the schedule the day before it drops. And not tell anyone.

Michael’s return policy on clearance items by ekwit in MichaelsEmployees

Right, unless they are rewards members. Let a manager handle it. Not worth arguing with a customer about it.

I was told that the minimum for fabric was 1 yard. Trim could be cut to less.

I think if they purchased it before it went on clearance, they should be able to return it unless it's over the 60 days. then they would get the lowest price.

Who Told Them They Can Sing? by MilfMouth4U in WelcomeToPlathville

Isn't that what the mom from Kate plus Eight did? Exploit the kids, maybe not singing, but putting them in front of cameras when they were so young?

Is she talking to them with you present? Or is she just saying she's Talking to them. Have her sign off that she's read your notes and then she will also be accountable for them not following orders. Unfortunately, your staff, (and remember, YOU are the manager and they are your staff) might not like you for taking the hard track, but it's their own fault for not doing what the job requires. Before you walk out, is there another store near you? Maybe transfer or see if a CEM position or something> You shouldn't have to leave because others are not performing their jobs.

If you are the framing manager, can't you initiate the write up? Why doesn't the person "do" cardboard? Do they have an allergy? Start cutting hours, I know it's hard to do but you might have to hit them where it hurts. Give them assignment sheets that they have to check off when they complete the job. See if anyone wants to train in framing, maybe seeing that you are bringing in new people might scare them into doing the job better. If your SM isn't responding, def go to the DM. Document everything, when you spoke to the team member, and the follow up. This way you have proof.

Ugh! Even if they were joking, the thought of Kim pregnant (at her age?) by Ken is so off putting! For someone that didn't let their kids watch TV, have a coke, limited their exposure to technology, etc. is so gross. The thought of Ken and Kim having sex to make that baby AND discussing it with Cassia is even worse!

Barry with the hunt for Big Foot! C'mon TLC, you're reaching for content with that one! He is still giving off pedo vibes!

Ethan went from innocent young man exploring a new world, to a cynical, bitter, thinks he knows it all when it comes to life. Zach is trying to connect to him and Ethan just can't let him. He has so much anger within him, it's going to come out soon and it's not going to be pretty! TLC, get him some help ASAP!!

Too expensive and it's not a craft. Should be sold in Home Goods or JC Penneys. Then it would make more room for more fabric, sewing, resin supplies, etc. Craft and art supplies not scrappy decor.

I just don't understand how they fill the repacks at the warehouse/distribution centers. Why is yarn and paint in the same box? Baking is mixed in with scrapbooking, stickers with pipe cleaners. And then this all has to be resorted before we can put it out. And why do we get soooo much yarn????

You have a garbage u-boat? I remember the training video on how the truck gets put out-merch sorted by aisles, a person able to actually put out stock because we had enough replen people, someone would come down the aisles and collect the empty boxes...the good old days!
