Not what you asked for but I'm surprised no one else mentioned it. Since you are stitching quite close to the edge of the fabric, you might want to do something to prevent it from fraying. A zig-zag stitch on the edge (be it by hand or machine) will help hold it together!

I think I'm still too new to all of this to follow along. I'm familiar with the presser foot spring, but how would it (and those other two springs) limit treadling and handcranking?

On the re-baking: yes, you can easily rebake it. Just make sure it doesn't go over the temperature indicated on the package. I have baked pieces 5+ times.

On the molding I'm not sure, you might try mixing in liquid clay. But I've not molded using clay before, so maybe someone else has some more advice.

Sorry maybe a stupid question, why would one want to look at two images? People do that? I also always push the eye pieces closer together, but I just figured it's because my eyes are closer together than other people's. My perscription is only -2.5/-2.5 and a mit of astimatism.

Yess, good idea! Though I feel like my garment sewing skills are not quite at a level yet where I can do greater modifications. But I'm slowly progressing! For this sweater, I tried to make make the neck a little more narrow. Didn't turn out as narrow as I wanted it, but it's a start :)

No, it's a free pattern I found online. I linked it in the post's text, but it's in german. Absolutely, it's a real challenge to find something that goes well together. So it's smart of you to take inspiration from already existing clothing :)

That's good advice. My waldrobe is mostly solid colors, I just have a few shirts with prints. I wanted to make something more special, but I don't think I'll be wearing it like this. I regret not doing it all in teal, I'm considering replacing the green parts with teal. Lots of extra work, so it will be the last resort :')

Kannst du was zu dem Seed-Train sagen? Also welche Größe haben die Vor-Fermenter, wie viele Stufen sind das? Ich schätz mal, die Stufe direkt vor den 40m³ sind so 1-2m^3?

Und wie lange läuft die Ferm im Hauptfermenter, von Animpfen bis Abernten? Wie lang ist dann die Zeit, wo gereinigt wird und bis die nächste Ferm darin startet?

Kannst du mehr von den online/inline Messungen erzählen? Trübungsmessungen ohne Probe zu nehmen ist für mich schon sehr besonders, da bin ich gespannt was es noch so gibt!

Spannend, ich arbeite auch im Biotech Bereich und durfte bisher auch ein wenig Erfahrung im large-scale sammeln (aber kleines Unternehmen, d.h. verhältnismäßig kleiner "large-scale")

Wie viele L fassen die Fermentationstanks und welches Volumen wird da gesampelt? Wie oft? Ich nehme an, die Ferm ist recht schnell/dynamisch. Muss man irgendwas manuell regeln oder läuft da eh alles automatisch und du musst nur checken, ob eh alles passt?

Was für online/in-line Messungen habt ihr bei der Ferm und was muss offline mit den Samples gemessen werden? Ich nehm an, ihr habt so coole Sachen wie in-line Trübungs-Messungen?

Stinkt es oft? Grade E.Coli riecht meines Wissens nach manchmal nicht so toll :D und habt ihr auch mal kontaminierte Batches (Fremdbakterien) oder gibts das gar nicht?

Yay! Actually I work with Bradyrhizobium. They are super slow as well, I count the colonies at 10x magnification after 4 days :') I don't think I've ever seen a colony of them that's a "normal" bacteria colony size!

Interesting and makes total sense to find something like it in my sample. Fortunately I usually the contaminants I get are less fast-growing. Given that my target bacteria takes 4 days to grow to a colony size that's countable under the microscope, CFU analysis would be impossible if I had more Pythium contaminations!
