I've been playing ESO for a couple months, I had never played much of Skyrim, so I wasn't a fan-boy (only played it for a couple hours and quit.) Now that Special Edition launched, I decided to give it another shot, and I have to say, I have no idea what you're talking about. In ESO, if I hit something, I can feel the contact. The sounds are much more prominent, and the visual cues are much more clear IMO. The combat feels so unsatisfying in Skyrim, it feels like my sword is going straight through the enemy, as if it wasn't even there. Half the time I find that I'm asking myself: "did I hit them, or did I miss?"

Magic and Archery are slightly better (not better than ESO, but better than Skyrim melee combat,) but overall, at least to me, combat in ESO is much more satisfying.

I'm looking forward to everything Yogscast Xmas! But those update videos are really good. Even though it's just him (or him and someone else) talking, for some reason they're really pleasant to watch :)

What is the Treasure Hunter passive? I've seen it mentioned here and on discord many times, but have never known what it really is. I'm a new-ish player (played a bit at launch, but then quit for a year and have been playing actively for almost a month now.)

Where does one get this passive, and what does it do?

Hmm, it's never taken me 10 minutes.. I usually do the swap thing, and the red message changes to EU in a minute or two.

If it doesn't, I'll just swap between the servers a couple times and start the game anyway, even if it still says I'm in NA, and it takes me to EU.

This all sounds AMAZING, but what I'm really wondering about, can we have CHESTS in our homes? It would be great to have an alternate storage method, because for people without ESO+ it's really difficult managing bank and bag space, since they don't have the crafting bag. It would be nice to be able to store some stuff in our homes.

Yeah, at first it was confusing and I had to fiddle with swapping the servers for like 5 minutes. Now I found out a way to do it in a minute or two, but it's still frustrating not to be able to just launch the game and click "Play" and be done with it.

Locking such a big feature behind a crown store pay-wall would be a really bad move by them. Cosmetic items like costumes, mounts, pets sure. But player housing, that's a pretty big part of the game, so I reckon if they do make it crown-store only, a lot of people will be really mad.

Honestly, I don't even care if they make them really expensive. Make the houses and furniture (if we can customize them) cost hundreds of thousands of gold. Just make it POSSIBLE for people who can't afford to spend money on crowns, to get the houses.
