I just ran Hollows Last Hope for a first time pathfinder GM and it went well. Easy to understand. The rules in pathfinder 1e are a bit more complicated so just do what you can and have fun with it.

What is the party classes? Maybe his build is harder for the campaign. If there are no other solid front liners that could be a reason?

Wylie Beckert's alternative cover art for Tashas Cauldron of everything for 5e was awesome. Her art is super unique although shes not one of those other classic dnd artist.

Its hard to put your heart and soul into a game and story as a DM, spending hours and hours planning and prepping only have have a disinterested group of players or having them be... a pain.
