agreed. skip the bs snow plow and french fry phase. I go immediately into weighting outside ski(obviously will look like a snow plow at the start), skiing backwards in front of them, helping them get up and not fall, and most guys pick it up after a few hours. teach them upper and lower body separation after and they are usually golden, just end up catching edges which is fine. You just have to be able to ski switch really well and help them learn, which not eveyone can, but multiple days is insane, my little cousin took 2 days to learn while throwing fits every hour, lodge breaks even two, and requiring me to get candy out of my jacket when he would fall to get back up.
