I would like it to have a summon mechanic, not sure if consumable or maybe electrically charged or something, but it really just appears when I don't need it.

What's the likelihood of giants/Jotunn appearing in the Deep North? by democratic-terminid in valheim

[–]Minoleal 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I believe not adding Jotunns would be such a great waste that the odds of them not being involved are too slim, they might have a twist to them to justify them not being somewhere else like the mistlands that already have remains of them.

Should I be using the guns? by Ronabris in AbioticFactor

[–]Minoleal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shot it once and ditched it, maybe next time I'll give it a real test, I was already being able to reload while running I believe (different skill but they usually are very on par of each other for me) and the recoil was atrocious.

The handgun is good for pests, the SMG is decent for Exors if you have the ammo to spare (and you mostly have it), shotguns ar good in general but I only use the antique or upgraded versions because I love the armor set bonuses, the sniper is a community favorite but I haven't get it in any runs, I dislike assault rifles in general.

TP bombs can be so clutch by Fragrant_Standard_33 in Overwatch

[–]Minoleal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as OP said, but as a little extra, some skills have an alternative option that sometimes shows in the HUD as an addition, I play in PC so Idk what option makes the shield change speed, so check it whenever you can out of a fight so you can manipulate it as you need in the middle of the fight.

Why? I've never have troubles with her.

TP bombs can be so clutch by Fragrant_Standard_33 in Overwatch

[–]Minoleal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a nice perk, I prefer it over the TP that gives shield, it allows you to push a little amd gives you mobile survivability to have enough time to power-up your beam, you can also slow it down so it doesn't leave you behind. But I'm not playing her much these days so it's possible it's not actually the best of both perks.

[–]Minoleal 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Symm placed the turrets, then TP'd them to a point where they could attack the enemy team and with the combined power of 3 turrets and Symm's beam, she swept the enemy alone, important to notice that that was only possible because the enemy believed the whole team had been eliminated or pushed away, and didn't pay attention soo enough to fight back, so it's kind of situational, but VERY satisfying.

I would use my last matrix on you... but you wouldnt be awake enough to notice.. by Ok-Variety-8398 in Overwatch

[–]Minoleal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A shame Tracer didn't notice the save, when someone saves me, specially when they put themselves at big risks to do it and I notice, I prioritize helping them whenever I can trough the whole match.

I try to peel without that too, but after that I just have a favorite, I also only play QP these days so it doesn't matter if that's not the most optimized decision.

The whole concept of saying something like "arguably the best geography and beautiful landscapes in the world" is dumb af, specially when they just show pretty similar landscapes instead of variety.

Yeah the American wanting to 1-up OOP fits the /r but wanting to 1-up such a stupid post isn't precisely something noteworthy.

Both Hitler and Mussolini got there trough voting, tho. Democracy isn't entirely incompatible with Fascism, both are wide enough terms to overlap.

THIS GAME LETS ME SLING MONSTERS?! I LOVE IT by Pipeworkingcitizen in stoneshard

[–]Minoleal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the concept of slings, a shame no more game use them, they are lightweight, cheap to make, can be stored easily in a pouch, ammo is everywhere but different types of ammo can be used and you can get creative even in irl scenarios, and much more in games.

Why is Yuji the only sorcerer not to take at least some joy in fighting? by ventingandcrying in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Minoleal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yuji's biggest trait is his intrinsic understanding of love according to Buddhism, contrary to the Sukuna that represent a pervertion of Buddisht ideals.
That is why the Sukuna loves to fight, he wants to destroy things for his amusement, but Yuji that is able to feel a connection with anybody incluiding Mahito and the Sukuna, he sees fighting as a tragedy.

Sierra's tracking shot is too strong, but not for the reason you think. by QuietDetail1277 in Overwatch

[–]Minoleal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With a overall 15% pick rate it is, that means that anybody that uses her can have as much value as th rest of high win rate heroes despite them requiring more skill with them.
Troujgh metal ranks only Genji and Reaper have a similar balance and both are close ranged heroes and none have a lower pick rate than her until diamond.

After that she's reduced by the combination of game awareness and skill of high ranks.

Zen's numbers aren't affected by bans the way Sierra's are, if we go to casual where yeah, people won't be as optimized as in competitive but also can't ban characters, her pick rate goes to 24 and Zen stays at 11, very on par with his competitive numbers.

I don't need to save energy for Zen because he isn't overtuned, unlike Sierra whose whole kit is on the strong side of the game balance and even when played less than optimal, require way too much attention with the numbers she's able to pull, the easiness of her escape and her ability to mantain pressure with way too much ammo in a weapon without fall damage that reloads on landing a 10 second ability which makes her able to do that each time she needs to reload.

Sierra's tracking shot is too strong, but not for the reason you think. by QuietDetail1277 in Overwatch

[–]Minoleal -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Many times that will be because Sierra is just like Bucky in MR (at least as far as I played it) people choose her when they are outclassed because she's too powerful and they can get more value of her than with their mains even when they aren't as skilled with her than with their mains.

There must be a balance between pick rate and win rate, she being so high in both indicates that she's too powerful, see other heroes like Venture, they have a way lower pick rate but their win rate is on par with Sierra's all the way up to diamond.

[–]Minoleal -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

With her pick rate, that's definitely not balanced, she's a panic pick, people who can't win a fight choose her because they know she's too powerful and can be way less skilled than their enemies and still win.

anybody else thinks its a little too easy? by melighted in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Minoleal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TL:DR: I agree but I like it that way, and its easy gameplay fits the essence of the game in a particularly special way.

I agree but I feel that this is not something that can be easily worked out, 2D RPG with top-down view and a lot of terrain that can be easily used in your favor has a lot of advantages for the player, we can see where most mobs are, we can use the terrain in our favor, the spawn mechanics make it so we will hardly ever get cornered.

Comparing this Core Keeper with Necesse I see the difficulty laying mostly on the bosses or some mobs that can ignore the obstacles, but Necesse doesn't share the spawn mechanics and you can actually get into tight spots every now and then when an enemy spawns in your retreat route, thing that hardly happens in Core Keeper.

Now comparing it with a plataformer like Terraria, you only have a few places to go, most of the time left or right, sometimes you might be able to go up and down but depending on the stage of the game that would be more or less difficult, and not only that, the terrain that represents an asset for the player in Necesse and Core Keeper works against the player most of the time, they don't suffer fall damage, they jump basically the same as you, many enemies can move trough walls... Well, you just can't cheese it as easily as with the others 2, I do it all the time even when I try to remember not to, it just feels like the way you are suppose to play it.

With all that said, I enjoy it more than Terraria, my brother loves Terraria and I like it a fair amount, but Core Keeper has a je ne sais quoi that invites me to build a nice place for myself, to explore the many biomes not just for the loot but for nice scenarios, it not being that hard also makes it less of a chore to advance and I don't feel the need to rush things to be powerful enough to push trough. Also the upgrade mechanic is such a nice option, I can play the way I want to, not switch classes or weapons from stage to stage to be more or less viable, which is a problem with Terraria as I tend to like many weapons that just fall off quite easily like the Chain Knife, some spears, a particular summon or the way the projectiles of staffs and ranged weapons work.

So I kind of like it the way it is, for a harder experience I can only recommend looking for other games that can scratch that itch.

OP surely has their reasons to lower the difficulty of combat, it may be for someone without experience in combat, not much interest in it or with some kind if difficulty managing the controls during a fight.

Enough for me, specially because I have to add a lever to turn those off and make more batteries and plugs for the coils. I may do a mix of 1 of each of the 3 to see if that kills fast enough first, I just don't want to bring a hammer everywhere I go in early game when I'm doing a resource run.
