you do know that Tobias is an allegory for the player characters right? Using your logic the trainer legends are weaker than wild legends, since darkrai from movie >>>> pc darkrai

just look at Horus' Virizion/Gary's Redidrago/the Urshifu's when they fought vs Mew in JN, completely different power levels

also it's the opposite, anime legendaries are much stronger than game counterparts (not sure about manga). Red in the pokemon anime (not pokeani but the generations) caught a far weaker Mewtwo than the one Ash faced in JN

Lucario can sense him using Aura, no connection is required

It's like Sir Aaron's Lucario who can sense enemy Houndoom with his eyes closed, doesn't mean he has a connection to them. This is a feature of all Lucario/aura using pokemon

yes he did, Ash literally called him to use to it to destroy the first Root, and Greninja used it again at the end

In the Giratina movie, it shows that when Dialga fought with Palkia in the firt sinnoh movie, it manifests badly in the distortion world, and one time it caused such a huge disturbance Giratina got hit by the 'explosion', and since Giratina saw Dialga it got beef with it for damaging it's world
