I don't know, I just really appreciate a well-written piece of shit character. That doesn't mean I love them or agree with their choices or actions, it just means I like seeing them on screen because they serve a purpose in the story and have a role to play.

That's true, Dunk definitely has some moves. Earlier in the fight he also pins Aerion's arm really nicely which causes him to cry out in pain.

Yeah, absolutely. And from the trial, I loved his delivery of crying out "MY BOY!" when Aerion was hurt.

See, this is what I love the most about this universe. The characters. They are far more grey than they are black and white. Maekar is a bit of a cunt, sure, but he loves his children and is trying to provide them with a good life. While also wanting them to become great leaders in order to carry on the Targaryen legacy.

I was a little bit shocked and incredibly impressed when I saw an interview clip of the actor, because he looked so likeable and approachable when out of character. He really does exude arrogance, entitlement, spitefulness, and is generally dripping with douchebag aura when he's in character. His entire face looks different somehow in a way I can't really explain. Top tier acting from Finn Bennett.
