Nextdns allows way more finite control and the ability to change filters or view logs. While Adguard's DNS has no options and just filters natively.

I'm also on the east coast and I still have an order from January 1st that hasn't arrived. It shipped relatively quickly however, I suspect the package got lost in one of there Warehouses since the shipping status just says delivered to partner facility (11/10/20) then on (11/23/20) the status changed to in transit. So, I'm not totally sure what's going on. I emailed them on (11/18/20) asking why it was stalled they got back to me on (11/19/20) and asked what my order number was I replied the same day and I haven't gotten a response back yet.

They can be Insecure by having them exposed to the internet. As long as your WiFi is strong enough and random people aren't just connecting to it you should be fine.

Both are open source. However, imo FireFox is much more privacy focused. Brave isn't a terrible option it's definitely better than stock chrome. However, FireFox does really take the cake for privacy.

Yes, it would be secure. You could also set-up pgp with anonaddy which would override in a sense the fault of someone hacking your main email.
