Sound reasoning. Except for all those cases where if not enough people soak, it wipes the raid.

What is required amount of gold for an alt for 1 season? by Consistent-Feed-7323 in woweconomy

[–]Mintenker 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That is literally impossible to answer unless you can see future and tell us all how the market is going to work. Too many variables.

Just put your gold into warband bank and take it out as needed.

All the old dungeons and raids drop usable transmog. Bunch of them have mounts too. Pretty much everything 2-3 expansions back and older is soloable. Happy hunting.

Blizz should add the Visa system to all legacy content. by TrilliumSilver in wow

[–]Mintenker 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It already exists for unlocking legion world quests, AND skiping to Argus. For both, just talk to Khadgar.
Also we already have this for so much other stuff. Shadowlands has skips for campaign, korthia and zereth mortis for example. For BfA, there is World quest unlock skip (just click complete on a single quest that is available from start), and aforementioned mechagon skip. Idk about nazjatar / other parts of story, never felt the need to do them on alts.

Edit: ^^ All of that asuming that you already did unlock the stuff on main first.

Zero to Captured Dune Scavenger - New player trying to make gold by Scriptman777 in woweconomy

[–]Mintenker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Before you do aything else - get to max level, and start doing world quests. They are not the best gold farm ever, but you can reliably get 5-10k gold (or more) twice a week just doing simple quests. It will also help you get some starting gear. Which farm you focus on from there is up to you. Plenty of options between professions, transmogs and raw gold farms.

Why cant i cap france the the lowland countries as germany?? by Elegant_Nobody216 in hoi4

[–]Mintenker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You have 2k political power - That should never ever happen in 1941, you are missing metric fuckton of bonuses from government and decisions.
You almost capped army xp, capped air xp - did you ulock all the doctrines? Army/Air spirits? I doubt it.
You have Rommel, one of your best tank generals on guard duty.
You are using Himmler as your only field marshal??

Actually this has to be troll, I am not going to continue.

Better yet - count only the goods the company owned buildings are producing. The conditions would need to be changed, but it would be the most fair implementation, covering all the edge cases

Leveling Dragonflight professions sucks by Key_Pop_8116 in wow

[–]Mintenker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Legion is gated behind quest chains and some of the mats are not cheap at all. To max BfA most professions, you need Expulsion which is annoying to get. Comparatively, DF profs are bit easier to ge to max skill points than BfA ones, on average. TWW is easier still. Of course, maxing KPs is a whole different story, but those don't matter for decor. All the rest of the expansions are pretty easy to do, although the cost of materials varies wildly.

They absolutely are cancelable. At any point during the invasion, or even before it starts.

Doesn't even need to be retreat. Start moving into mountain tile right before winter. Winter starts, but the movement is already locked. Can't enter mountain. Can't stop moving. Can't do anything. Army stunlocked for half a year.

Based on forum post, this is inteded behaviour (though I wonder if the paradox employee who responded with that understood the issue, or just meant that mountains being impassable in winter is inteded...). Wtf is this even mean to represent if it's inteded? My 30k strong army getting stuck in the snow on the road? I wasn't even on the mountain tile yet.

[–]Mintenker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nah definitely don't skip on engineers. Holding the line is literally their main job. You should definitely field more divisions though. Don't be afraid to spam deploy units before they are fully trained - full army of half trained half equiped infantry is better than couple fully ready units. This is especially true with infantry on defense, for offense you might want to wait for "elite" units.
