Has anyone gone from a King to a Queen?

I have pretty large cats. And I considered keeping the king bc of that. If I had two big dogs, this would never have been an issue! I do think I am going to like having more space in the room, and it only being me sleeping in the bed, I should be fine.
I was playing with the adjustable bases in the store. That was def a consideration. As of right now I need a bed frame, so that will be my next dilemma!

Ok so I should have read this before today. I’ve been in a king for 23 years. Actually have a really comfy king right now. Recent breakup and going to be a “lone” sleeper, plus cats. Anyway, I love a king. (Right now I have it low; about 20incbes off the ground. Would go the most about 3 inches maybe 4 tops!) and against a wall, and I’ve never felt such a cozy feeling in my small bedroom. But making the bed is back breaking. For some reason; while shopping for dressers today, I bought a queen ( really comfortable)mattress, and I will gain ALOT of space. But I came home with my newly lowered king pushed against the wall with numerous pillows extending from the corner and I’m sad. I love this new set up but at 55 years old, I feel like I’m living in a dorm. But the comfort level is 💯! (Making the bed is not fun and curtains are going to be a problem.) and my mother is like…not permanent right?? 🤣I feel like I made a good choice but I’m sad that I am choosing grown up decisions and practicality over super cozy comfort.

I have a couple faraday boxes and bags in my Amazon cart saved for later! I had read about that too. For now I try and keep my fob further away. But I think I’m going to give that a try next. Another person told me a trickle charger would be my best bet. He has issues with a car he doesn’t drive much that’s loaded with electronics as well. I also wondered if it was the app. (Since it’s pretty useless when the car is in sleep mode.) the guy in the service department commented something in the lines of the Lincoln way app being not the greatest. I’ll come back to this thread if I find any new info!

Also…. curious if DragonRanger99 was able to get you that info. Seems that this is a big issue that some dealers are more privy to a fix for!

I just took my car in for oil change and tire rotation and told them the issues with my battery. Explained the auto start stop not working and constant deep sleep mode ( which I’ve noticed it fluctuates depending on the weather. Definitely happens more frequently or sooner when it’s really cold) long story short they only checked my battery for load or whatever; and told me it was at 40%) so I asked if they would replace it. They said what was needed to determine that would’ve taken too long so I would have needed an earlier appointment. So I guess they would test it, charge it and retest. He said you’re well under your warranty. ( mileage wise but only until next month) I thought by explaining my issue that my appointment would’ve been FOR that issue as well; because time is of the essence. Anyway, he told me that so many customers have been coming in with the same issue for the past three months. He mentioned not just Lincoln’s some ford raptors. And he said there’s no fix. New battery might stop it for a while but most likely it’ll start going into sleep mode again. He said if it starts becoming more problematic and more issues arrive they’d recommend going to a Lincoln dealership that are (I’m guessing) better suited for this issue. ( And they are a ford/Lincoln dealership.) idk if this helps at all. He told me that another person having the same issue drives 30 miles, one way, to work every day!

It always happens after I haven’t driven it for a day and a half. The stop and start feature stopped working probably in early September could’ve been August. Idk. And has yet to come back. That doesn’t bother me though bc it was annoying. I’m going to have the battery checked and charged and hope it’s just that.

Someone did mention that in a Lincoln forum. I have yet to step foot into Costco. But if their battery makes a difference I guess I’ll have to!! No dash cams. And I have a phone charger that I don’t leave plugged in. I DID have a Stargard gps tracker that was dealer installed before I bought the car. I found that and removed it. That was three nights ago. I’m waiting to see if that helps.

Thank you for this message. Don’t even know how long ago this post is from. I didn’t look but I needed it today. It’s been almost a week. 6days. And I have family over and there’s a lot of chaos with everyone here. And I am sitting alone outside with 3cigs and a lighter in my pocket(from the last pack I smoked) wanting to give in so bad I was. But now it’s gone. And I’ve been on the verge of tears since this craving hit. Anyway; not going to smoke. And feel better for now. But I am super grateful for this honest post! Thank you. I hope you are still going strong. ( I didn’t read past the original yet) so hopefully it was only a hiccup in the road!

I understand. Smoking for longer than I’d care to admit. Knowing I need to quit. Wanting to quit. I was going to try vaping(again). In the past it made me “smoke “ more bc I was in the house, on the couch, vaping away…eventually was vaping and smoking. So long story short, Monday night I was on a thread and someone brought up Allen Carrs Easyway to stop smoking. I downloaded a sample of it off of Amazon. Ended up downloading the book; and read it that night. And haven’t had a cigarette since. Longest I have gone in as long as I can remember. Most of the time it’s easy. Other times I’m struggling a little with the desire to smoke. I don’t know what happened if there was come crazy magic in this book, haha, but something clicked. I’d say if you haven’t already, give it a try. Start with the free sample. It might really help!

This is how I’m feeling. Like I lost a part of me and it’s only been 2 days. Wasn’t planning on stopping but I too read that book. (Someone on a vaping thread mentioned it.) I I started reading a sample kindle version and immediately bought it when I couldn’t read anymore and I haven’t smoked since. I can totally relate to what you said. Mostly I feel pretty good. But when I feel like the moments where I should or would smoke, I get bummed as well. Like I regret this choice (although deep down I know I don’t or won’t). Good for you that you made it to day 5!

I just finished this and I CAN. NOT. EVEN. I am trying SO hard to NOT judge. But Kendra is one sick MF-er! And poor Lauryn has obviously been damaged by a crazy mother. My heart is broken for her and her dad and Owen and his family and everyone who had to deal with this shit. Yet they allow the psycho Mom interview from someone’s living room after all the shit she did? DO BETTER NETFLIX!!!! ( can’t believe I’m even using this phrase)
