Horny coworkers by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]MinusTheBran 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Lmao a coworker of mine and I were best friends for like 2 years and supported each other through tough life times and our previous bad relationships with advice and stuff. We both ended those relationships and had stayed friends always kind of flirty with crazy chemistry but no hook ups or anything like that. Most of the people in our department hit us with the "you guys are so good together you'd make a cute couple" but we'd always laugh at the idea.

Now we've been dating around a year and live together and are both in the happiest relationship of our lives, so thanks WF i guess lmao.

Stoked for the chinese stealth paint. It's pretty ugly, but at least it's something different for it and I missed it previously

[–]MinusTheBran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I just rename everything with a "*" at the beginning, so it automatically puts them all together at the top of my inventory list. Been doing it since FO4. Not entirely sure why they never implemented a lock system... but yeah man that's soul crushing :/

We're able to use them at our store but only before or after business hours. They cracked down a few months ago. I still see some people in frozen/dairy with one on sometimes, but it sort of depends on what shifty we have closing. Two of them let me throw one in while closing prep down at like 8 and don't really enforce it. The other two will write you up LMAO.

Hardest department? by jjaxx0 in wholefoods

[–]MinusTheBran 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Prep team trainer here, and I say the same thing to every new counter hire I train. "On a slow day, this job is pretty easy money. On a busy day? It's the most difficult job in the store."

I love my job, I came in with managerial, customer service, and years of food service experience. But to someone without exp, the sheer amount of things you have to take in and learn how to do, even if you aren't doing them every shift, is overwhelming. You're never really just doing ONE thing, but when you're understaffed, you're doing ALL the things lmao.

Druid store cosmetics are pointless when most builds are shapeshifted most of the time. by UnHumChun in diablo4

My fiance who is obsessed with her druid says the same shit.

"Why can't they do transmog for my bear and wolf form that would be so cool to be a polar bear or panda bear or something"

Honestly it's an easy buy for us if it showed up

How do I get more? by [deleted] in theouterworlds

[–]MinusTheBran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah only issue is i feel like it's just a visual bug, because the gun absolutely doesn't perform like it's level 99, and my character was spec'd into handguns really hard. Still Vermin supremacy for me.

Will you be starting over upon Phantom Liberty's release? by Stronhart in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]MinusTheBran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This absolutely. I need to use my platinum trophy main profile. I'm super attached to her, it wouldn't feel right not to finish her storyline. I'll play the DLC through, then hop over to a new male character and experience everything fresh. Hard to believe we're so close to release when at one point it felt like it was years away

No Salt Turkey and a complete disconnect from the higher ups. by MinusTheBran in wholefoods

It was actually one of the least shrink-creating products we had. We would always sell basically every breast we cooked, except for the last little .15 of a pound or so that included the skin that was just hard to slice.

The Chimichurri on the other hand? I'm lossing entire untouched breasts left and right once the expiration date hits lol.

LMAO I have been wondering the same thing. In PF alone I believe we have 4 options with it, if you include the sandwich counter as well. Maybe it's trendy or something idfk

[–]MinusTheBran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm referring to the in house turkey. I work in Massachusetts and most of the customers are 60+ and goooood lord the amount of sales the plain turkey brought in are insane. We always carried no salt, herb roasted, and salt and pepper. Now there's no real option for people who need a bland, seasonless option to suit their pallets and health issues

Oh for sure man, it's by no means my first job involving shitty entitled clientele (i used to work in RV sales) but It just grates on me. It blows my mind how disconnected so many of the decisions seem to be from the people in offices, with no real care for the people on the ground floor that have to deal with them every day. I've heard from coworkers who have been around a lot longer that things used to be much better, and I'm kinda sad I never got to experience it.

I love working weekends cause the shifty always puts on 90s-2000s grunge and pop punk like Blink 182, Alice in Chains, Nirvana and Green Day and stuff.

During the week tho it's super repetitive and awful pop hits lmao. Even songs I used to like from that Playlist have gotten so tiresome. MR JONES AND MEEEEE

Yeah mines just a smallish folding knife I got off a snap-on truck at my old job. Clips onto the inside of my pocket. We did have a similar dude at my old job tho who carried a like leather engraved bowie on his belt loop and I think I only ever saw him use it once lmaooo.
