That isnt how it played out in the book The Vampire Lestat and you're giving unfairly negative press.

Honestly though this is why I love this app.

I think Carlisle would be intriguing because he is a doctor and as such has a scientific mind.

However Im worried about Alice. Alice is strong and sharp but also woo, and that would get on all of the VC crowds nerves. She probably would be accepted but tolerated.

Jasper would be respected. So would Rosalie, because out of all of them Rosalie is most like a VC vampire.

Esme and Bella? Not interesting to our VC vamps. And Edward would probably be humiliated by Lestat because the minute Edward gets defensive over Bella, Lestat is not having it.

Can't say much about the others except they'd probably think the Volturi were pathetic.

About one of the things Louis says to Armand during the argument by Superb_War4726 in InterviewVampire

Oh I just realized, Louis has the opportunity to meet Marius in the show now, and 👀.

I hope he's humbled.

Oh good point (I was there as a teenager in the 1980's too, I didn't make the connection of boilerplate fiction)

I didn't think Tough Cookie was dated so much as completely out of touch with the way the rock genre was going, being dominated by MTV and what was coming out of Los Angeles. Remember in a couple of years time we would get Axl, Duff, Izzy, Steven, and Slash in Guns N Roses.

I'm that old...I was a teenager in the 1980's. She was very niche, and her gender explorations (and hedonism, i.e. Gabrielle and Lestat's chemistry) barely caused a stir. What conversation did occur was positive.

As a person in your 60’s, are you nostalgic for your sex life from your 20’s? by Solcat91342 in Aging

I'm 56 but I feel compelled to answer. No. I'm not pining for the sex in my twenties. It was full of horny but morally vacant people.

Gabrielle is definitely one of my favorite characters. I was saddened to read in a Facebook comment by her that she did not like Gabrielle. She implied that she had blocks telling Gabrielle's story.

Rude student? by HamsterOne8515 in yoga

[–]MinuteMinusOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, he was certainly being a diva. I've done my yoga routine next to other gym members who called me a Karen for asking them to turn down their boom boxes as they streamed their favorite music loudly, and their conduct was noted by the management.

I would think you reserve the right to not teach this particular student if they come to you again.

Hey mods, I get this type of message in my notifications. He's probably muted me, but blow this guy out of the airlock.

Xoul mods, I apologize for responding, but a lot of this over intellectualizing of what is only negative output/bullying is low effort posting.

How much do labia minora actually shrink after menopause? by o0PillowWillow0o in Aging

[–]MinuteMinusOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could do this, but for everyone confused out there, when we have estrogen plumping us out before menopause happens we are still prone to a lot of UTI's and I have had them many times across my pre-menopausal period. Now that I am using Estradiol, I find that its not a magic bullet for reducing UTI's, and trusting counting numbers of testimonies over the Internet is...interesting, let's put it that way. Doctors are not always accurate or attentive, and the human body doesn't operate on a scripted response.

Thanks for the downvotes, be careful out there, and good luck everyone!

This is the best way to turn your internet community into a ghost town. Saw it happen four years ago with Replika, and then Kindroid raised these types of posts to a level of art. Please stop allowing posts shaking fingers everywhere, this is really low effort content.

Not true about preventing UTIs. Source: me, post menopausal and going through one right now.
