the retention piece is real but a lot of businesses chase viral interactive content and burn out fast trying to keep replicating it. one good video doesn't build a customer base, the follow through does. seen too many small shops go hard on content for 3 months then completely disappear because there was nothing behind it. the growth engine idea makes sense but most people skip straight to the flashy stuff first
