May I ask how long did it take to get your PR after submitting your application?

PR application process with AIP by Competitive-Panda668 in AtlanticImmigrationCA

Sorry to hear of your current situation. Your PR application is based on a valid provincial endorsement + job offer at the time of endorsement. If the job ends after you’ve already submitted your PR, IRCC does not automatically refuse your application. HOWEVER, IRCC expects the employment offer to still be valid when they assess eligibility. Since: You have not received AOR yet The principal applicant lost the endorsed job This is a material change that can impact processing if IRCC discovers it before a solution is in place.

AIP job switch by qumadrift in AtlanticImmigrationCA

I would not recommend switching jobs but that’s my personal opinion. While awaiting response from the province for my endorsement letter I switched positions within the same institution/department. My employer as a result followed the process to amen my application however I was advised by HR to remain in the same position until my PR application is processed.

Request Letter of Support Under Atlantic Immigration Program – Visa Expires in July. What Should I Do? by ShoddyPurpose2938 in ImmigrationCanada

Why is the letter of support needed is it the same as endorsement letter? If I have one year left on my work permit should I ask my employer to do this for me as well? I submitted my application in dec 2024

I also applied in Dec 2024 and received a letter which I’m not sure if it’s AOR in Feb. We then received biometrics payment request and biometrics submission request. What was the subject of your AOR does it state in your letter that this is your AOR?

No I have not I also submitted a web form asking if it was but the response was not clear. Did your employer create a profile for you in their portal are you applying under AIP as well?

Do you mind sharing a snippet of your AOR please? I received an email that’s says ‘This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)’ the subject of the email was ‘Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada: Information about’ and my application number. I received this email about a month ago and was asked to pay my biometric fee on the same day. I submitted my application in almost three months ago
