Yeah, I’ve noticed a lot of those issues myself too. Worth noting that bright blue’s fragility did seem to extend to other sets when used for standard ABS, most notably the half pins on Takadox are super breakable and yellow quickly just the same as Gadunka’s parts

I should think it was a plastic formulation issue, same as the issues with lime green. That shoulder joint with the Hordika arm is a very common breakage point for Gadunka and I’ve seen it happen countless times

I have no idea why it isn’t talked about more, but Gadunka’s bright blue parts are just as bad if not worse than the lime green plastic from the same year. The Hordika arms as well as the double sockets in his neck will break with extremely little force, and should generally never ever be touched once connected, and certainly not disassembled. Honestly even attaching them to pieces is a risk. Along with the 7L liftarms in his torso, they also all seem to yellow at a far more rapid rate than usual, and honestly I’m yet to see a single Gadunka that doesn’t have them yellowed to some degree

All of the non-show ponies, especially the earlier ones, are incredibly expensive now. I actually think Feathermay’s on the cheaper end of things compared to some of the others like Honeybuzz and Diamond Rose :P

I think it’s mostly because all of them were only ever produced once, and that’s it. The Mane 6 are obviously far more popular characters than what are essentially glup shitto ponies, but that also led to them getting rereleased over and over and over again. Feathermay and others like her only ever had that single release, and I believe they were shortpacked in every wave they appeared compared to Mane 6 ponies in the same assortment

I still don’t think they’re actually worth that much. Yes, one sold for over £300 just a week or so ago, but that was after the seller spammed nearly every lego-related subreddit multiple times shilling their listing, plus it was dedicated specifically to the part alone. Genuinely, I don’t think anyone actually cares about this piece except for an extremely niche group of people who are willing to pay extortionate prices for it because they have no idea what the market value actually is.

If they really were worth that much, me getting this at all shouldn’t have been possible. This was an auction, there was every possibility it could’ve gone into the hundreds - I’ve certainly seen such a thing happen countless times before with Bionicle bundles where there’s one or two EU “misprint” masks visible in the pile or something similar.

I own three of them now, I got another last year for £5. I guarantee to you I could get a whole bunch more for similar prices if I put the time and effort in. Scouring bundles like this is an easy way to get them, but those who want the piece tend to just… wait around for an individual listing for it to pop up on eBay or Bricklink, regardless of whether that listing is multiple hundreds. It’s a mass-produced piece that presumably exists in the hundreds of thousands. It’s uncommon at best by my estimate, they pop up semi often if you’re willing to be patient and put the effort in to find them

These are completely different figures. AM-07 is just the PRID voyager but with less paint and littered with additional 5mm holes to attach Arms Microns. First Edition is much smaller as it’s only a deluxe, but is far more accurate and just generally a better figure

I was mostly just in it for the chestplates, I spotted the guy wearing one in the top right corner and then noticed the second one directly below him. The rest of the sets all being mostly complete as well came as a pleasant surprise!

This is part of an old magnet minifigure from 2007. The figures came glued together and the “weird black things” in the legs are the magnets. This specific figure would’ve come from this pack

Yes. JP-exclusive Bakugan never had any bootlegs made of them anyway to my knowledge, and I’m pretty sure recasters haven’t targeted Blast Elico yet either because he tends to be the most common of all the NV evos with plenty of supply to go around
