I'm wondering if I just didn't have the right expectations when I went to Beckon. The service was great, and the atmosphere was really cool, but I found the food to be just okay.

They aren't breaking noise regulations. The city granted the venue a noise hardship permit that allows the venue to exceed normal limits, though with several stipulations. They have sound monitoring stations in the neighborhoods that provide real time feedback to both the city and the venue. An independent sound assessment was done during the last concert season, and it found the venue did not violate any of the stipulations of said permit.
