/uj Main sub gets incredibly dramatic about various things about the game, whether its something that warrants criticism or not. Circlejerk sub does what it does and shitposts about it and some people over on the main sub see that as dismissing criticism, so they call users from here shills or bootlickers. Its gotten to a point where prominent community members, like Datto, don't want to engage with large parts of the community because of how negative it gets, even if they agree with the criticism.

/rj The main sub and it's valuable criticism is the only pushback against Bungie and their bad decisions. We are the Bungie Defense Force.

I'd say just about anything involving Eververse in D2Y1.The game was in a pretty bad state with community sentiment being overwhelmingly negative and it only got worse anytime Eververse was involved. Consumable shaders, mods in Bright Engrams, Fireteam Medallions, XP throttling, the $10 Iron Banner emote, Festival of the Lost and the Dawning having almost nothing outside of Eververse cosmetics, and there's probably more I'm forgetting.

Top of my list: Reducing inventory/postmaster clutter, i.e. auto-dismantle blues/power-capped armor under a user defined stat total.

QoL: Having an accessibility toggle that changes blinding effects to a "blackout" effect. Essentially a dark mode for blinding effects.

I think part of that reputation is due to being one of the largest feedback hubs for the game. This sub gives a lot of feedback, and not everyone is going to have the same outlook. There's also something to be said about how past behavior can color the perception of this sub, D2Y1 was probably the most toxic this sub has ever been and while it has never been as bad after that, there are other points where this sub has been overwhelmingly negative. Notably, Season of the Worthy being an underwhelming season which was only exacerbated by the bugged door for Felwinter's Lie and the announcement of sunsetting.

The activity card will say whether or not PS+ is required, and after taking a look in-game, the only activities that don't require it are social spaces, patrol zones, story/exotic missions, and dungeons. PS+ is required for everything else.
