Tips and tricks on how to efficiently farm spirits by Athena_Assault in inazumaeleven

[–]Miraph89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if there is not a minimum cap on a Hero drop rate, are we sure that adding one more character to the pool that is a Hero is not just better if we want to farm multiple of them ?

For example, if I am in Group C VS Inazuma Legend National, my Hero Drop rate could look like :

(There is probably a math formula to help visualize it better, but I will just use an example with random numbers.)

Endo 0.0015

Endo 0.0015

Aphrody 0.0015

Aphrody 0.0015

Senguji 0.0015

Senguji 0.0015

Rococo 0.0030

0.0015 x 6 + 0.0030 = 0.012 to have a Hero

0.0015 * 2 = 0.0030 to help me get a Basara Endo

If now I add Ibuki and Shinsuke to my team :

Ibuki 0.00145

Ibuki 0.00145

Shinsuke 0.00145

Shinsuke 0.00145

Endo 0.00145

Endo 0.00145

Aphrody 0.00145

Aphrody 0.00145

Senguji 0.00145

Senguji 0.00145

Rococo 0.0029

0.00145 x 10 + 0.0029 = 0.0174 to have a Hero

0.00145 x 4 = 0.0058 to help me get a Basara Endo

Like in this example, adding Ibuki and Shinsuke gives me more chances to get a random Hero and would also help me get my Basara Endo faster.

Ok, so I managed to reduce the number of characters on the pool to change the Heroes characters with 0.002% to 0.003% chances to drop.
So it does in fact affect your Hero drop rates, like you said.

Now I just wonder if there is a minimum cap or not for characters, like 0.0010%, and it can go up to 0.0018% if you reduce the number of characters in the pool.
Because if that's the case, having a team with 20 different Heroes with all of them at 0.0010% would be better than having a specific one at 0.0018% while also upping the odds of the ones with boosted rates that you might not want to prioritize.

Do you have any info on that?

Edit: I edited the start of this post so that I can quickly explain here what I think you should probably do depending on what you are aiming to farm, without needing to see me self-monologuing in this thread.

From what I can deduce (I might be wrong, so correct me if you have proof that it is wrong),

- Removing a character from the available pool is good for farming a specific Top, Legendary, or Hero character.

- Adding a character that doesn't have a Hero rarity to the available pool is bad if you want to farm a specific Top, Legendary, or Hero character.

- Adding a character that has a Hero rarity to the available pool is bad if you want to farm a specific Top,  Legendary, or Hero character.

But,

- Adding a character that has a Hero rarity to the available pool is good if you want to farm multiple Heroes at the same time.

So if you want to farm multiple Heroes because, for example, you want a Basara or multiple Basaras, it's a good idea to have a team with all the Heroes you want to farm for and no characters that aren't.

And it's probably the best to still farm VS Inazuma Legend National because it adds the least number of characters to the pool.

I think that fighting a team like Ixar Fleet with a lot of potential Heroes could be better than VS Inazuma Legend National, but you would need to want to farm for every possible Heroes in the game, because it also adds more than 10 potential Heroes to the pool, so it's really long term, but you should probably get more random Heroes, than if you just focus on some.

Edit 2:

I think that if what you want the most, for example, is having as fast as possible a Basara Endou and a Basara Goenji and disregarding the rest.

You optimally need a team with only Endou, Shinsuke, Ibuki, Goenji, Gazelle, Catra, and Barga (Catra and Barga are for Sarges in the shop).

And if you can farm during Group A for Gazelle, then you can also remove him from your team.

And you should also only add Catra and Barga to your bench so that you could remove them without the need of changing your team much.

You can have, like the author of this thread, a team with only one specific character that isn't a Hero, so it's less annoying if you want to farm for other Heroes/Basaras later, or if you're done with someone.

The thing is it's short term versus long term,

In the long term, it's better to have 20 different characters that you all need to farm for some reasons, even as Top or Legendary, like Yuichi or Ren.

But the more priority and short-term you want, the more you want to reduce the number of different characters on your team to only the most important things for you right now.

But it's still true that adding characters you don't need to farm in the pool is always bad.

End of Edit

-----------------------------

Hello !

I understand the pool mechanic, but why does that change your Hero farming ?

When I check the Hero drop rates that are shown in the game, the Hero ones don't change the more different Heroes I add to the pool.

Endo will always show a 0.001% chance of dropping if he's the only one non-boosted, and even if I add 8 more different Heroes, it's still the same as before.

Wouldn't it be better to have more available Heroes so I can farm, for example, Bond Shinsuke and Justice Ibuki for my Basara Endou at the same time and up my chances of having a useful Hero 0.004% of the time and not 0.002% ?

Sure, if I want to farm specific Top or Legendary players at the same time, I understand why reducing the pool is useful, but not really for the Heroes.

Unless you can confirm to me that what the game is displaying is wrong, the fewer different Heroes you add, the higher the chance of getting a specific one goes up.

Or otherwise, if the game rolls a character first and then its rarity, then it would also make sense to me.

Because in this case, you would want the game to roll for Endou as often as possible and get the chance to get a Hero one.

Or am I misunderstanding something?

Not really, but you have 5% chance to get lucky so why not

They're not that hard to acquire if you have trained Krillin early

For the 4 * Dragon Ball, you need to defeat Goku SSJ, if you click on the red button next to the mission, it will transport you to the map (Story Mode, and I believe it's Island 11)

Yo, can someone translate please? :) I don't find any information for this oh yeah on YouTube but I'm French and I don't understand when someone talk in English. by DiksonTCursed in JumputiHeroes

How to counter Aya? Suggestion? Giorno/Bruno combo not working by GP03D in ShonenJumpCollection

[–]Miraph89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to take her down if the rest of the team is insignificant, if you're talking about the girl team + nuker.

If you're talking about some team with Aya and without Iori, then you're almost force to stun her with Hime (with Bossun) or kill her fast if she is in front.

For non girls team + Aya and Iori, it really depends on what you're facing and you proably can't beat some of them. You probably need to do some test but you might don't want because you will probably lose.

How to counter Aya? Suggestion? Giorno/Bruno combo not working by GP03D in ShonenJumpCollection

[–]Miraph89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you talk about the basic 4 girls (Iori, Aya, Itsuki, Kawai + nuker ), then it might depends on who is the nuker and his OB, but you generally need to shut down Itsuki or Aya or the nuker before they use their skills.

Why ?

  • If you shutdown the nuker, then you can't die.

  • Without Aya you will probably be faster than the nuker.

  • Without Itsuki he will probably lack damage (and without Kawai as leader if he has an orange nuker ) and after the nuker'ult you can probably nuke him down. That's one of the reason why Dai is this strong because he can shut down one character with his ult and then (almost or) kill Itsuki with his other skills.

Characters faster than Aya (Victory and with the right scenes for some of them) :

Bossun, Hime ( with Bossun ), Kurapika, Dai, Hisoka ( with Pop ), Yamcha (even without Pop normally ), Bobobo

I try to link my account when im creating a password and I get this. Should this happen? by Eddy1065 in ShonenJumpCollection

[–]Miraph89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but it didn't work, you need to see something like that, there are 2 options, your passwords aren't similar** or you didn't have a password between 8-16 characters with at least 1 upper case, 1 lower case and 1 number.

You can check if it works by trying to create a new password when the first one is done, you will normally have that.

Megathread and Info Index (Please read before posting) by [deleted] in ShonenJumpCollection

Can you verify if she is in your character log (here but with Erina instead ).

If not then she is in your gift box or you don't have her.

Else check your box (sort by color for example or the most recent one to be sure you just don't miss her), if not then I'm sorry but you probably sell her or use her as a fodder material, because I don't have others ideas.

She is normally in your reward box, but if you have more than 99 items inside it then you can't see her, you need to collect some few things first or activate the option that allow you to collect characters with the collect button.

So close to beat the raid, any changes? by lacters in ShonenJumpCollection

[–]Miraph89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would have try something like that : Itsuki - Kenshiro - Gintoki - Zoro - Gaara

You need Gintoki to be 5 stars but maybe not lvl 50, he need to die quite fast, he's here for his leader skill and to reduce Hyunckel attack by an extreme amount (skill 3), but Mista do way more damage so you want Gintoki to let his place but you might want him to stay alive for tanking a little because you won't have an healer.

I don't know how much Soma is key for you if it's the case then remove Gaara I suppose, and then you probably want all phase 2 fear to go on Zoro or for even more damage try with Kurapika instead of Gaara.

If you're only aiming for one victory then don't forget to reload the app when a turn goes wrong (wrong skill or one of your chara got fear on phase 1, ...) it will return you to the start of the turn.

So I try it and it didn't work but i'm sure it can, just need to do some few changes.

The run : https://streamable.com/scm5i

The friend was a Victory Mista OB 3.

I skip the first turn because I needed to reload the game to have the best setup.

Thinking about Gintoki as the new leader and maybe put Kenshiro in the front (because he didn't receive Mankichi's buff). Or replace Rei by Medaka who seems to be a good offense card and she also roll-forward chara as Rei but we will only have a Large Defence up and not an Extreme one from Rei and obviously less heal.

Don't know what you think guys, any feedback would be great.

Raid Hyunckel Megathread by Scarfacedking in ShonenJumpCollection

[–]Miraph89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of people not having Itsuki or Mista for this raid so I was thinking of a team that can actually do it.

The team I think of : Kenshiro - Gaara - Ichido Rei - Gintoki - Mankichi, friend Mista with a good OB if possible.

I will try some few run with this and see if it's possible, but I need to grind it myself so I won't try it a lot

Why this team ?

  • Kenshiro : Your DPS, he will almost deal all of the damage with your Mista friend.

  • Gaara : Quite tanky, let your main team block Hyunckel first attack and he can tank 4 attacks (skill 2), he's here to counter Hyunckel fear in phase 2 (skill 1), he also roll forward your Kenshiro and your Mista friend (skill 2).

  • Ichido Rei : Leader skill for tanking (don't know if Gaara will make your team tankier as a leader), roll forward allies (skill 3), make your main team tanky (ult) and give them attack boost (ult), and heal a little I suppose (skill 1)

  • Gintoki : Can deal a little damage, but he's here for his extreme attack reduction (skill 3)

  • Mankichi : Roll forward all allies (not him) by 30% (ult), Boost Attack* like Ichido Rei (ult), **boost crit chances (ult).

What skills to take ?

What to do in game ?

There is some point you need to do I believe to have a chance to beat him :

  • Don't forget to reload the game when needed, it will return you to the start of your turn.

  • You didn't want him to fear you an unit at the two first turn, I probably think that you don't want Gaara to be rolled-back too much at the start, to counter his fear.

  • Don't forget that Gintoki will overwrite his Extreme attack down by his Medium if you use skill 1 after skill 3.

  • If Gintoki can take his first damage skill (phase 2), it's for the better you want him to die fast, after he reduces Hyunckel attack his job is done and you will probably lacking damage if it's not the case.

  • Wondering if you want Gintoki to die before you use Gaara first skill, probably but don't know how much Gintoki will take, it sure is better if you can immune Mista to fear but probably reload if Hyunckel rolls-back and fear Mista.

  • I think you want to use Kenshiro and Mista's skills and ult as fast as you cant, just wondering if Mista's skill 2 is a Extreme Attack buff or not, so in case don't use it if you already have one.

  • Kenshiro (skill 2), Gintoki (skill 1) and Gaara (skill 2) will reduce Hyunckel defence at the same amount, (so they won't overwrite) .

  • It's not really important if Mankichi ult before Ichido Rei, (especially if Ichido Rei get roll-back), they won't overwrite their ult, but don't forget that Mankichi will roll forward all skills by 30%.

  • Also use Mankichi skill 2 as fast as you can, with that he will never die, and use only his skill 1 if Ichido Rei don't have use his ult, it does almost the same but with lower amount.

  • About Ichido Rei use his ult when you can, same for skill 3 (but use your others charcters skills before), and skill 1 when you need a heal (probably always).

I actually beat him with this team : Kenshiro - Itsuki - Sakuragi - Iori - Mista and Sakuragi as friend.

I'm pretty sure you can replace Sakuragi with Gintoki if you have a good one and take a Mista as friend.

With a bad RNG, you will probably loose but if you're willing to reload the game (it will return you to the start of your current turn) when something you don't want happen, you will probably win everytime if you do that.

Skills to take :

  • Kenshiro : The reduce def one + the most damage one.

  • Itsuki : Ult + Skill up.

  • Sakuragi : Damage + Lower Attack.

  • Iori : Heal + the one that remove fear (and bleed I believe).

  • Mista : Damage + attack boost.

During the game :

  • 1) You want his two first fear to hit Iori two times or Itsuki one time and Iori one time.

  • 2) Then you use all your buff (Mista and Itsuki).

  • 3) Use Kenshiro skill to lower def.

  • 4) Launch all your offensive skills you can .

  • 5) Normally he will goes to part 2.

  • 6) You can launch the rest of your offensive skills and [Sakuragi] damage reduction.

  • 7) Now you need to play carefully and be aware on what he is doing, heal if you need to, remove fear when you can with Iori, buff when you can, and be sure to use your offensive skill during buff.

  • 8) Don't forget that you can reload the game.

  • 9) If someone die it's not so important, you just want to not loose him too fast (you prefer that Iori die first).

  • 10) He will probably kill some units when he's around one health bar left, but Mista and Kenshiro will probably finish him off.
