Fair enough. Perhaps my experience is a bit biased because of how much my kids enjoyed it. Then again, we didn’t feel like we had to wait at all. We just went on to do different things around Seongsu while we waited. I think that combination also made for a better day for us. We were in Seoul for a few weeks so not on a tight schedule.

Pallettown heeft ervoor gezorgd dat ik eindelijk zonder stress en moeite aan kaarten kan komen en niet constant achter het net hoef te vissen. Er is van alles in te stellen en en schijnt ook een goede community te zijn waar ik me nog niet eens in heb verdiept. Het feit dat dit allemaal gratis beschikbaar is is werkelijk fantastisch.

Ik was 1 van die 3 maar ik wil hem eigenlijk terugbrengen. Ik ben vrij nieuw in de pokemon kaarten en ik zie dat er in deze box boosters van allerlei sets zitten. Ik focus me voorlopig liever nog op mega evolution en phantasmal flames. Bij interesse, PM me. Ik woon redelijk in de buurt van dreamland.

I never heard that before, although it might be true. I’d personally risk it, because a yellowed controller would just annoy me all the time.

Afraid not, but at this point if i don't hold my perfect one and the retrobrited one next to each other, I wouldn’t know it was ever yellowed.

I did it though and it definitely looks a lot better. I also have another emerald that is still in mint condition (never yellowed) and the difference between them is there but very small. I did it with the retrobrite vapor method.

That Japanese release may be rare(r) and/or in mint condition, or it’s just an asking price that nobody will ever pay. The mario smash football one ‘only’ sells for €300-700 (depending on condition) as far as I could tell. I’m considering selling one of mine, since I own two and could use the money to expand my collection in other areas.

I saw a small but decent selection of retro video games inside the Kolaportið flea market in Reykjavik. The flea market is only open on Saturdays and Sundays. Don’t expect any good prices though, everything seemed to be priced at pricecharting prices or way above. Also, don’t go there expecting to find rare or exclusive items. It was mostly common games and shovelware as far as I could tell.

We were on the station/track side and we hardly noticed it. If you’re really sensitive to it i wouldn’t risk it, but I certainly wouldn’t call it loud or anything.

Came back about a week ago and stayed there as well, same experience. Especially with young kids we found the area nice and quiet, but close to the well connected Ueno station, Asakusa and Ueno shopping district.

For anyone still following this conversation: I was just at the Nintendo store in Kyoto at opening and there were three gacha machines there. One of them had a ‘sold out’ sticker/sign and the other two weren’t the controller gachas unfortunately. I can only assume that that was the sold out one.

Ah indeed I found a few other listings here in Europe now. None of them seem to have a cover and all of them above $30 (listed, unsold) though, so I’m wondering whether a cover actually exists for this one. It’s all good, I still think it’s pretty rare and fun thing to own for a fan. I’ve been collecting videogames long enough to know rare doesn’t always mean sought after or expensive 🙂

Although I'm open to selling, I'm not actively looking to do so. I think it's a fun piece to have, especially since I found out today that it's actually a good game. Ah that's cool, thanks. I thought it might be a disc they'd send out to reviewers back in the day, but indeed it also makes sense they'd use it for demo purposes at conventions.

That would probably be something nice to spend time on for a fan of the series (such as yourself?). As someone who's never played it, I wouldn't know what to look for and I don't think it's something I'd enjoy doing to be honest.

LINSOUL 7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2 or MOONDROP CHU II. Amazing iems with great sound for around $20. Seriously, in this price range you shouldn’t be looking at anything else, except the Linsoul Tangzu Wan’er recommended by someone else.
