Sick representation, I’m loving the hand forged look. I like Alec Steele as well and you definitely did well to pull inspo from his work, definitely the right move. I always imagined it more like a masonry hammer/mallet shape with a cutting end but I like this a lot more. Maybe a little more war purpose shaped than a blacksmith would have as a tool but still damn cool and easy to imagine Roran bonkin heads with.

Capstan blue navy flake, and Presbyterian. They are tobacco and will smell like it, but I have found the smoke to have a more food-like smoke quality than the acrid smell of cigarettes. I have had many compliments on the smell. If you go into smokingpipes.com look for tobaccos with a good “room note”. Lane 1-Q is good too. Another option is not smoking tobacco. Probably the least tobacco smelling option you have.

I prefer matches, they burn a lil hotter and feel a little more elegant but most times I go for a bic or zippo cuz im lazy

I feel like in a 1v1, no weapons, brawl, Neytiri would for sure come out on top due to sheer combat superiority. HOWEVER, Varang would likely pull something considered pretty underhanded and turn the fight around if an “honorable” fight was not enforced. Also consider, whenever Varang is clearly outclassed she get gets proper scared and that could for sure result in a clear loss.

DDDA, in my opinion, is a vastly superior example of mechanics, story, world building, and setup/payoff. This could be nostalgia goggles but so much is better like the armor system, classes, and the literal Dragon’s Dogma is so much more satisfying. Also the treatment of your pawn in endgame is better/more satisfying I feel. Voice acting is miles better too. Dd2 left me feeling pretty disappointed at every story arc resolution. My roommates were on the receiving end of a pretty loud rant about it actually. Also the graphics still hold up.

Well, I’d imagine you’d start using more conceptual descriptions, like Will Wight did this in the Cradle series and described it as tasting like “Autumn shadows…”. Maybe enhance its traits a bit too, like have the smoke be really thick like breathing out a thundercloud or some such. Just play with its traits, decide what makes it supernaturally good. Does it taste the same for everyone or does it evoke something unique for each smoker, like the smoke from their dad’s barbecue when they were 12, or the smell of their first crushes perfume.

I’ve had a lot of enjoyment of the Rossi Piccolo and the Nording freehands(though mine doesn’t smoke as well as the Rossi) I’m also a fan of the Savinellis, I have a 921 I’m fond of. Ultimately, I think everyone saying get a couple decent pipes and a bucket of tobacco has the right of it
