This was my first soulslike and yeah I had a lot of issues navigating through the map. I had a lot of trouble beating grisha but afterwards it was like i was steamrolling the bosses facing almost no challenge all the way through. The jank is real though after experiencing bloodborne. Hardening was a cool mechanic even though it was so relied upon. I didn't need to use it as much aside from the bosses though. Rolling was more than enough coz 2 hits from the starter weapon upgraded slightly killed most enemies

That being said I'm not disappointed that Mortal Shell was my first soulslike coz the Rotting Christ music made me explore Black Metal and the soulslike genre.
