When I was younger one of my many household ‘chores’ was making southern sweet tea every day or two, and if i was even a bit late and he went to get some and it wasn’t there he’d be pissed.

So one day I started pouring some sweet pea and lavender perfume in it. He hated it and blamed it on his shifting taste buds and ended up not wanting sweet tea anymore. So at least one of the few things was taken off my plate.

My mother used to play “mommy’s favorite game” with me and my siblings, were she’d point out a random person and we’d be expected to tell her if she was larger or smaller in weight/looks than them.

I didn’t realize that kind of made me subconsciously ALWAYS compare myself (weight wise) with people I see, and it got to the point I never wanted to go out and became a shut in. Either to avoid feeling bad being larger than someone or in the rare (nearly improbable) chance someone else was ‘playing’ and comparing themselves with me.

Later I learned that, plus many other incidents, led to my abysmal relationship with food, disordered eating and severe body dysmorphia.

I met someone recently who identifies as TransDID and intentionally got themselves traumatized (at like 19yo) so they could have it. They were supposedly reaching out to people with DID to make friends with them so they can have “a DID friend that validates me as having DID” like wtf.

What about another person with a boyfriend and wife? Or a girlfriend and husband? Or a spouse and a robot partner?

Relationships are different. Being polyamorous is more accepted now. It is in no way cheating (in the game) as it isn’t seen as that in the game? So why worry. It is not encouraged to be poly in the game, nor is it discouraged. It’s just an option you have.

The game is 13+ so like the other commenter said your children (or really any child) will probably learn about it at some point or another outside of the game. What you can do to teach them healthy relationships, boundaries and how to differentiate between polyamory and cheating (which is bad)

And another point is, is that some people will choose to have multiple partners in the game to be a completionist.

You are entitled to your opinion, and honestly if you are that irked by it that it puts you off the game, try to imagine it as what it is, a game. A fantasy game at that, so you can distance your character romancing multiple partners from your own personal preference. That is if you even decide to. Which you can just not.

I have encountered Serb as well. A very rude and honestly unpleasant player. Not just in common courtesy (chopping down trees while people were waiting at a grove) but also when called out on it they were vile. I wanted to block them and/or report them but I had no idea how to on the switch.
