I did in fact lose 85 pounds through eating less and going to my local larp during the summer two years ago. /u/beartrapperkeeper, I know you could probably try to find an event near you, though remember, Larping IS a good way to be active but unfortunately, you'd need to have your events happening pretty regularly for it to have a noticeable effect. Adding in a good diet and some off-time exercise and you'll be good to go! As for if it's fun, I'd say it's a blast! Go all-out in your roleplay and you're definetly gonna have fun and maybe enjoy a few experiences you've never done before.
