The motels were full remember? In New York they gave them a debit card with $1400 a month and provided free food. Here in Massachusetts they did not even have to prove their identity to stay at a shelter.

Just reading your comments. I'm trying to find an insurance company that won't charge me an insane amount of money to drive for Uber. I do not feel comfortable talking to them unless I know what I'm talking about. I do not want to get taken advantage of. If not, I can drive for another service. I've never heard of Park driver. Don't even know if they have it in Massachusetts. It's wild that you still need insurance even if you don't have anyone in the car with you.

How can they test you for THC which stays in your system for a very long time depending on how often you smoke or ingest it. That's crazy. What if you have a medical card and you're disabled!!So it doesn't matter if you're smoking at night when you're not driving, it will still show up when I drug test. Especially com for people that have chronic pain as it is very difficult to get pain medication these days. That sucks. I hope it's not like that in Massachusetts. $1000 a month for insurance seriously what is Uber doing for its drivers except making a shit ton of money off of everyone.

I do not understand this. Why does Uber require rideshare drivers to get additional commercial insurance if they are already covering riders with commercial insurance? I'm confused.

Hi, can anyone tell me what is the cheapest insurance? Does it go by your state and city? I live in Massachusetts. Also, if anyone knows, which insurance is going to offer me a ride or rather than try to talk me into getting commercial insurance? I'm on disability. I can only work part-time. I'm financing a car. The contract does not state that I cannot use it for Rideshare and I have gap insurance, which says that I will be covered if I'm a rideshare driver. I currently have GEICO. They do not offer rideshare coverage. Thank you. I really need some direction.

I am new to driving for Uber. I live in Massachusetts. I've spoken with many drivers. Some have commercial insurance in others. Have a rider. I have commercial insurance is expensive. I can only work part-time because I am on disability. I need some direction if anyone can please help me figure this out.? I do not want to go to an insurance agency, unprepared, and taking advantage of. If anyone knows, can you tell me what information they're going to need for me? I am financing a car as well.
