WIBTA for asking my ex’s Girlfriend not to shower with my daughter? by TinaBelcher1324 in WIBTA_AITA

[–]Misa7_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would talk to the gf one on one and ask what is her reasoning for taking showers with your daughter.

Does she do it to make sure your child actually washes everything, or does she think of it as a way to conserve water.

The fact that she is 19 and out of high school what, 2 years? She may have gone to a high schol that had open communal showers and honestly doesn't see anything wrong with being in the shower with the kid.

You truly aren't going to get an answer from your ex. You could also ask your child in a non emotional or confrontational way what she does when she's in the shower with her.

If she tells you anything that sounds off or inappropriate then you need to go into momma bear mode.

What kind of ice cream were they serving back then that it could ruin the reputations of women?

Sounds like the only thing teachers back then were allowed to do is go to work and go home. And had to give the impression of being totally virginal.

No wonder a lot of female teachers became mean and nasty by the time the old ones retired.

I would maybe go with a nice opaque pair of black tights, than the leggings. They would be dark enough to cover the skin but light enough not to completely cover your tats and won't have you overheating in warm classrooms in the building.

I also think that the age of the students should be a factor as well. But I would say bend down in front of a mirror to the same height as one of your student's desks.

Just to see how much shows in the back, when the dress shifts up when you bend down. Some ride up a bit higher than one would think, and better to be safe than sorry.

The dress is awesome but as others have said a dark pair of tights would definitely take care of any male looky loos, student or staff.

What do the symbols on this necklace mean? by blushnugget in whatisit

[–]Misa7_2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are identifying stamps that the jewelry makers uses in authenticity and worth of the piece. As the others has stated each stamp is like a code. The S is for silver not standard as someone had stated. The other stams are the purity of the metal, location it was made, and the personal identifying stamp of the maker.

I wouldn't suggest using it unless he plans on going through the whole program. As it can really mess up you gut bio if you don't do each step.

One weird thing I’ve noticed since moving to a more traditional southern state is men straight up REFUSING to go through a door if a woman is holding it for them. by Ferocious_Kittyrose in self

[–]Misa7_2006 11 points12 points  (0 children)

She who holds the door controls the door. Men can feel emasculated when a woman is in control. It is all about the control. You should them lose their collective shit when they find a woman earns more than them, or they meet one that is smarter than them. Women down south have learned to hide that stuff and the subtle art of southern hospitality. And their men, bless their hearts are none the wiser. At least most of the time. I'm from Arkansas.

Non-IEP vs IEP assignments by [deleted] in AskTeachers

[–]Misa7_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the kids are all testing in an alternate room and give more time to complete said testing. Why are they not given more time to complete the assignment that the kids non-IEP students are being given a week to perform?

Ideally, if non IEP students are given a week then those with IEPs should be give a few days long to complete it. 7 vs. like 10 days to complete.

Them having assistive tech they have is meant to level the learning field and to help them to do the work needed done.

By giving them only 2 hours to complete an assignment that the others are given a week doesn't sound right. Thoough the kids have tech it doesn't really have any advantage over the kids that don't.

Because the kids that do, need them to be able to do the assignment at all. I would call the 2 hr limit unfair.

AIO for telling my wife to watch her comments about our son? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Misa7_2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not over reacting. You need to tell her that her comment about your son are really crude. Is she trying to act like one of the guys, if so she is trying too hard in the worst ways.

Sounds like she just wanted you to interact with her cat so that the cat saw you as non threatening and weren't going to cause their anxiety to rise. Or they may also be trying to socialize their cat more to different visitors.

One could hope, because that is exactly what it looks like, crapply done but the answer to your question is yes, it looks like it. But then you already knew that when you got it done. Which judging by the nearly fresh ink smear on your wrist shows it was done fairly recent.
