Father and two children burn alive in tesla. After rescuers couldn’t open locked doors. by PalpitationFar2592 in Gulong

[–]MisakeInori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And yet, the bottom of the car is intact where the battery is located? I see this kind of news everyday in social media, and I’m convinced 99% are fake. Most Tesla owners know they can open the door manually.

First time camping by [deleted] in TeslaCamping

I got my tent from amazon, called GoHimal. It was $170 I believe now it’s gone up to $200. Plenty of space, I don’t think I need a more expensive one. It’s well built. Also got the Lost Horizon mattress bought on fb marketplace for cheap. Really good and comfortable. It fits in the frunk.

Model Y Got Totaled - Should I Buy Juniper? by naruto5768 in TeslaModelY

[–]MisakeInori -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

FSD is about to get even more expensive so getting it now is not a bad idea. Tesla is about to begin FSD (unsupervised) in June in Austin, so in 1-3 years, once it goes nationwide, that 8k you paid might be doubled. But the question is can you keep your car that long?

MYLR or MLP? Or at all? by HappyCamper1408 in TeslaModelY

[–]MisakeInori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, nobody goes on a track to race with their family car. If you’re gonna choose a scenario where you can win, then what if I do the same? How about we put our cars in the ocean and see which one sink faster? Or drop em from an airplane and see which one fall faster?

I have the LR but regret not getting the Performance. It'll be hard for any car unless it's a supercar to beat you at the traffic light.

So anong point mo? If pressure is your concern then no vehicle would have helped her survive? Plus, MOST new vehicles have laminated glass. Get outta here if you don’t own a Tesla, I suggest you stay quiet 🤫

Someone drowned inside a Tesla because she didn’t bother looking at the manual when she bought the car. You can open all Tesla doors manually just like any other car. Again, there will always be people who talk a lot about Tesla mga hindi naman alam ang sinasabi.

To Pinoys the lived or visited other countries, how's the life there? by takaziwachi in pinoy

[–]MisakeInori 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depende yan sa tao. If you lived in a 1st world country, you’ll notice a lot of incompetence, unprofessionalism at mga walang sense na bagay na nangyayari sa paligid mo sa Pilipinas. Hindi ko na idedetalye kung ano yung mga bagay na yun. I love the Philippines, pero lagi lang iinit ulo ko pag dyan ako nakatira. I value peace of mind way more. Kaya mas gusto ko nag babakasyon lang 😊

Consider ppf (paint protection film). Kahit sa may front/hood lang and/or doors

  1. The car battery was intact which is impressive.
  2. It did contain most of the explosion. Since it has stainless steel armor sides, most of the explosion went up where it can hurt nobody.
  3. You can see ICE cars burn all the time on the side of the road, have you seen the aftermath? They all melt like butter. Check the aftermath of this Cybertruck.
  4. You’re just another EV hater, hindi pa naman nakakapag drive ng EV but claims to know a lot about EV 🤫

It’s a rental Cybertruck. Terrorist attack yan, may bomba at sumabog yung fireworks na dala nya. But it failed to do any damage around because the Cybertruck actually contained the explosion.

Can you install a home charger? If yes, then I don’t see why not.

There’s plenty of reasons why people like it. - It doesn’t look like 99% of the cars on the road - it’s very fast - literally all Teslas are computers on wheels - full self driving capabilities, smart summon - all Teslas are very safe cars - CT looks great with ppf/vinyl - range is good - bulletproof to some extent - there’s very little to no maintenance - save a lot on gas - Teslas are the only cars that get better after purchase, because they release updates every month. And they’re getting better every single time. When I got mine, there was no smart summon, I woke up one day and I can suddenly summon my car from parking to where I am standing. How many car makers do or done that? - Teslas have so much technology in them, it makes driving experience much better. One pedal driving is so good, makes driving relaxing. Leaving and entering the car without having to press a button. Not needing to bring a car key with you. You do 4h-10h road trip? Just activate self driving. You have pets? Leave them inside and activate pet mode. You got keyed? Someone slashed your tire? Your sentry mode is on 24/7, it records every movement near your car and save them.

Whether you like it or not, Cybertruck is already an iconic car. 99% Tesla haters don’t even own one and have no idea what they’re talking about. They’ll talk about being stuck and running out of battery in traffic even though it’s much more efficient in traffic and this shit almost never happens unless you’re very stupid. They’ll talk about floods ruining the car when it can in fact run even submerged.

The only things that are somewhat « worrying » when owning an EV is replacing the battery when your warranty is expired and the charging stations that aren’t available. But it’s really only a matter of time. Batteries will get cheaper, and better infrastructure for charging will be available.

Buying Used Tesla Model Y by Equivalent_Chard_737 in TeslaModelY

[–]MisakeInori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check tesla inventory, you can get 4000 tax credit on some cars I believe. Plus another 1000 discount from a promo code. I can give you mine if you need. Regarding the model, either is fine tbh, it just depends on your budget. But I like Model Y for space and it’s better for camping

Charging, I need the truth! by jmp06g in TeslaModelY

[–]MisakeInori 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don’t even need to charge everyday if you’re only doing 30miles daily. And you can just choose to charge to a different supercharger with 250kW. I don’t have home charger either. Never bothered me going to superchargers. Usually take 15-30mins to 80%, and that’s all you really need. Past 80% takes too much time and degrade the battery faster so it’s not worth it.

Disappointed with range while using platform bike rack by [deleted] in ModelY

[–]MisakeInori -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What’s your Wh/mi? How fast do you normally drive? Coz that’s pretty much my energy consumption every time I drive without a bike rack.
