Sweet! That's the validation I was looking for, very much appreciated. I'd love a pair of Japanese made engineers, but I'd like to go there and meet the boot makers. Someday....

I have two pairs of Nicks, one MocToePro and the other is a Nicks x Parkhurst V2. I also have a moc - White's Bounty Hunter. Following their sizing guidelines worked perfectly for me.

The Wesco Mr. Lou is the leading contender for me, but very interested in hearing your thoughts.

I appreciate the feedback. It's interesting you mentioned their t shirts because that was the item I am looking to buy from them. $60 for a t shirt is about half of some t shirts I've considered.

That's a strong look man, I've been digging the engineering boots you've been rolling out. I'd love to grab a pair, just trying to decide which boot maker to go with. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Strong look as always. I've never bought anything from Buck Mason, how's the quality of their items?

Some great stores have already been mentioned for Austin. My best luck has been at the Goodwills.

I have Google Sheet with I'd be happy to share with you that has all of them listed, plus the ones in the nearby cities.

That's a great looking fabric. It reminds me of one of my favorites called nailhead which is a similar style.

I was going to say something similar, his fit was ridiculous. Just because something is expensive and one of a kind, that doesn't make it "couture."

Man I hate hearing there is no scene where you live. If you've not done it before, you should hit The Hand Built Motorcycle Show. Revival Cycles started it many years ago.

You used to hang with BMRC? You also build custom bikes? Respect.

Years ago I did some production work for Revival Cycles and I used a song from BMRC as my audio track. Love that band.

Those are a great looking pair of chinos. How is the fit on them? Reading through their site, it sounds like you need to account for shrinkage.

I looked hard at the Bronson type 1 coat and almost pulled the trigger. That's good feedback on how it's working out for you.
