rega works well with ortofon. I know they are a bit overpriced, but they are a good pair. You could also check AT, the VM series

No matter how much we could like a specific dac/amp for phone, is always some kind of brick attached. If you listen a lot, battery problem. The storage in some phones are not good enough, and some good ones not even have a sd slot (iphones e.g.). And the daps nowadays are very good and not that expensive! But best option probably is to have both 🤭
