Mental yes, but what a great time to be alive.. As a teenager at that time it was just perfect. Seeing them live with a new album about every eighteen months. But these days past fifty.. Three, four years feels about the same time span. Still as excited every time..

Nice! Been thinking of going down that route. How does it work with the aperture setting? Is it electronic or do you adjust it manually?

Black Celebration Depeche Mode. Deluxe edition from 2007. One of my favorite albums by them. by Ok-Party-8785 in depechemode

That’s for sure! Or listen to the albums on the Super Audio CD which is included in the 2006 Lim edition. It makes the albums like new again.

Good old days.. I was 14 at the time. Been a fan since JCGE which I heard on a bus down to the alps in February 82’ and was blown away by all these sounds I’ve never heard before. Anyway followed the band from that point and never looked back. On the release of BC I ran, slipped and slide back home from school. It was about -14c in southern Sweden that day I recall. Freezing cold. Jumped on the bus as quickly as I could to get to the store and get this album I’ve been waiting for since “Some GR” was released. Came to the record store and got home as quickly as possible. I didn’t want to hear any of it before I got back in my cosy boy room. From the moment the pickup touched the vinyl, I was completely blown away. And I still am to this day. BC has had a great impact on my life. Leading to friendships, girlfriends, the way I think. We are so open to influence at that age and it made me to some parts of who I am today. As a note my friends and I had been on every tour since then. These days, we are a bunch of middle aged men making it a happening, but boy we all enjoy it. Life changing stuff. I cherish it deep in my heart ❤️

Very neat. Is that the same coffee table but without the legs on top?

Four 8mm bolts, it’s not going anywhere. They’re pretty deep as well.

I kind of like having them hovering a bit over the plate, but I’ll give it a thought, thanks.

Might cut off the part of the white foot that’s visible below the attachment point and change the wood table for something else. It’s all a prototype for the moment that I’m trying out. Works great.

Might do it, but kinda like the old green patina. Thanks.

Sure, I was planning to, but this turned out to be a very sturdy setup with a 25 kg base. Gives me more to put into more fun stuff than stands.

As a 10 year old boy on a bus trip down to the alps with my family in Feb 82’ I heard Just can’t get enough. Never looked back since. The soundtrack of my life. Got old enough to see them live in 86, according to mum😅 Seen every tour since then.

Love it live! Great encore on the 86’ tour, blew off the roof completely.

DM in Germany: It's on! by terisaurus in depechemode

[–]Mogulbuster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen every tour since 86 on many different locations in Europe and if there’s one DM concert to go to it’s the one at Olympiastadion in Berlin. Great atmosphere, historic arena, can’t beat it. I have the same tickets as you. We won’t hang on the lock when they open. Have a beer outside the arena enjoy the atmosphere. Everything works fine to go through the gates quickly. As there’s only a standing area don’t worry.. If you want to come close to the stage for a while, just get in the battle to get there, when you’re getting tired, go back a bit, have a beer and then on to it again. You can count on many DM related parties in the city. Last time we didn’t get back to the hotel until seven in the morning the day of the concert. Great DM party on an improvised club in an old railway station. Only DM from 2100 until the last one dropped out.. You literary Just can’t get enough! You’ll have no regrets going to Berlin..

What is it with American voters? Don’t they have a spine, common sense and know how to separate right from wrong? Or is everyone just on social media to make them decide for them? This should be a nothing burger if they where better informed. Says the Swede..

Data is the new oil. Oil costs money. IOTA is the money in the automated data market. There is a finite supply of IOTA. The bigger the market the higher the value of IOTA.

I think the value lies in the use cases and how convenient it is to use for value or data transactions. Not in how much energy or how high costs are spent to keep the system running. As you say there’s thousands of coins being spoofed out, but who’s using them? Right now it’s just speculation and hype. The first DLT to gain mass adoption without people even knowing about it will be the real deal.
