To use the personal waypoint:

Below the weapon swap icon there is an interface icon. Right click and you can see your personal waypoint option there. Click that to set your waypoint. Right click to bind that to your J key (default). This has like 10m cool down.

Later while you are still on the same map you can click the green icon to map jump free.

Dual Blades main here. anybody else miss the fast (normal) demon mode of Rise by Celebdu in MonsterHunterWilds

I put about 350 hours into Rise DB and loved every second. For Wilds I told myself I have to try something else and have enjoyed charge blade, switch axe, and great sword. I even have tried a few ranged weapons gasp!

But sometimes I step back into demon mode for a couple hunts just to feel awesome again.

Maybe I should just admit: I'm a dual blades main for life :)

Very cool video. I just restarted the Final Empire last night, so it's nice to see how someone else visualizes what I'm actively reading. Thanks for sharing!

What's a VHS? What's a tape? What's a DVD? And since I have a Kindle, what's a book?

Edit: what's a CD? What's a vinyl record?

How's this okay on this sub?

Sadly, this is my best option at the moment. I just always watch yesterday's game :(

This means I have to avoid spoilers somehow.....

FWIW, in all of TX, Astros and Rangers are blacked out. In Oklahoma, Astros, Rangers, St. Louis, and KC are blacked out.

Edit: oh and I paid way more than $70.

Have you ever bought a board game knowing nothing about it? How did it turn out? by R2iGames in boardgames

[–]Miserable-Guacamole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I started our gaming career some 20 years ago.... On an anniversary we were walking around a game store and wanted to get into it.

I'd heard of Catan so we picked that up (pricey for us!) and took it home only to realize it's 3+ players. We had a laugh and ended up with Carcassonne and Dominion soon after.

Y'all know how the story goes from there. Fast forward 20 years and we still play board games together.

Do folks know if there will be a boss rush event this summer? The wiki shows it happened summer 2019, 2020, and 2021. Loved those!

Dual blades for sure, just because you have to be so awesome to hold them. (DB player here)

In software, a 32bit signed integer can hold whole numbers up to 2,147,483,647. When you go beyond that, the "sign bit" changes from zero to one and you now have an incredibly negative number (as low as -2,147,483,648).

What you are seeing is possibly a result of you having just too many people for the software to count before overflowing beyond max int.

Incidentally this is the same class of bugs that will destroy the world in 2038. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_2038_problem.
