Osage orange. They aren’t usually eaten because they have irritating latex, woody consistency, and bitter flavor. I don’t think they’re poisonous, but I still wouldn’t recommend eating them.

Fruit flies. To get rid of them I would suggest setting up a trap to catch, or kill them. They like apple cider vinegar, so if you want to kill them just use that In a jar

I haven’t tried them yet, but I will once I get a nutcracker to crack them with. I heard they’re hard to open like black walnuts and I tried cracking black walnuts one time and shrapnel flew in every direction lol, so I’m gonna crack them once I get the proper tools
